Just read on twitter that apparently he's been seen in Milton Keynes in a taxi. Apparently he's playing tonight. Anyone confirm this?

He might be playing Candy Crush on his phone in the taxi, if that's what you mean. Alternatively could be Words With Friends to brush up on the old Inglese.

Taxi? Our standards are not that low. Must be an Uber car...

We're never announcing this. Angel will remain in a constant state of limbo, not quite a Manchester United player and no longer a Real Madrid player.

Can confirm he was playing quizup with me.

Well he definitely won't have been registered to play tonight - considering the club haven't even announced him joining yet! And I'm pretty sure they wouldn't stuff him in a taxi. But you're better than Twitter aren't you..sort it out!

It's like that time Ed took 4 weeks to return from Australia. Di Maria will resurface after the deadline and all hope will be lost.

Meanwhile at OT

I don't like those in the media portraying this deal as desperation or panic.

Di Maria is exactly the sort of player we want and need. He's ridiculously well suited to the counter attacking style we love. I'm more excited about this signing than I would be about Vidal.

Buying one of the best players in the word is not desperation. It wouldn't have been desperate if PSG signed him I bet.

They tried to do the same with the RVP signing. Granted we were in a better position when we signed RVP than we are now. It is a signing we all would have wanted even if we just came off the back of a treble.

Great post but yeah, you're wrong.
Calling La Liga a second tier league is a ridiculously out dated view, at this stage. I'm convinced anyone who does it only does it because they want to believe their precious PL is the be-all and end-all of everything football related, because if you watched La Liga on a regular basis there's no way you could form an opinion like that.
