Couple of nice calm moments on the ball which was good to see given how badly his last performance went.
Funny how the standard is so low on him now after his last performances that even a meh performance like today’s gets praised.
Whoscored ratings just to give some insights:
player ratings vs Chelsea
Romero 7.1
Young 6.6
Smalling 7.3
Lindelof 6.7
Shaw 7.0
Herrera 9.0
Matic 6.8
Pogba 9.0
Mata 6.7
Rashford 7.5
Lukaku 6.4
Alexis 6.5
Andreas 6.0
McTominay 6.1
Lowest rated player on the team today.
Not really. He came on for 15 minutes when we had decided we were going to see the game out. He joined in and did his part. Same for Sanchez. So yeah, it was a positive appearance. And McTominay came on in injury time, using his rating to make a point is daft.
Exactly my point, he was merely a passenger in a game that was decided by that point, all he had to do was to not screw it up major time, and he didn’t.
But that’s about it, now people praising him for not fecking it up...thats another thing
Good by Solskjaer to bring him on higher up the pitch today.
Didn’t do anything but good to see him get another chance.
He did ok, I guess ?

Nice cameo from him today
Hmmm...
High praise indeed. This one was particularly over the top:
Come on...
I actually thought he was quite average, pretty much every pass he attempted was intercepted.
Happy for him that was a good performance, he looks like he's getting his confidence back.
No surprise who posted first
Fair play to him though, he can never truly replace Herrera but I feel he can do a decent job as proven today
