It is a shame to see youth with attitude problems (if he has any). I really do think he could be a good playmaker in our team.

Boro would hopefully be a good move for him. They've got a good young manager in Aitor Karanka, a decent squad to join and he won't be far away from his pal Adnan.

A loan move would be the best thing for his career, especially in the Prem if he is as good as he/they think he is.

If he is successful, then he will earn his United spot, if he isn't it'll be time to move on

United should just sell him if he's not good enough. Same with Januzaj. I'd ask for a permanent move if I was in their shoes. I don't know what he's doing in training but he clearly has talent. These loan moves at his age rarely do anything for the player's chances at the parent club.

he's 20 years old playing for one of the world's biggest clubs, who has played well every time he's been given a chance. it would be insane to sell him.

I'd prefer the Prem. Boro was rumoured, was there anything in that? Karanka seems a good coach and is mates with Jose.

How much playing time would he get at Boro? They seem quite stocked at cm to me

Can't see him being a starting player for a PL Club on loan, all these teams can easily afford a midfielder. He'll either be backup for one of the lower teams or he'll be at the Championship.

Rather see him in the championship playing every week than sitting on the bench at a premier league club. We won't learn anything unless he is playing. I really like him and hope he doesn't stagnate on loan as Wilson has.

I still think that Boro is a great fit, decent team, good football, manager with close links to Jose

Who says he can't start for some PL clubs?

If Perreira, Januzaj, CBJ and Varela can get 20 league starts at their clubs(temporary, of course), it will be a huge bonus for United next season.
Wish LVG had let Perreira go on loan in the last transfer window.

They should make sure wherever he goes he will be a top 5 Attacking mid for the team so it guarantees he will start come off the bench a lot.

He needs to be challenged but also play.

When he came out that him and Januzaj were trying to score from corners in a game last year it obviously shows a poor attitude but also that they weren't being challenged.

Perhaps a loan to Dithering Dave would be wise? Larsson is out injured for 6 months, he might be in the market for an attacking mid.

Why are the press labelling him a forward? he's a blooming midfielder :wenger:

Hope not. Fulham are really crap, even Magath couldn't sort the mess.

Im surprised Hull City arent in for him given they only have 13 first teamers in their books.

Was thinking the same tbh. Would be a great place for him to gain some experience but also game time.

Here's more on the Kline bloke who has vetoed against Pereira:

Kline has been unwilling to share the formula behind his rating, although his model does not involve watching games himself. He is a numbers man.

Kline has no prior experience in football before he became involved in Fulham around the time Shahid Khan bought the club in July 2013. He was a law graduate who met Tony Khan at university. Tony is senior vice-president of football technology and analytics at his father’s NFL franchise Jacksonville Jaguars and a devotee of data analysis. Kline worked for the Jaguars and was then transferred to west London.

Another key issue is that Kline has what one source described as a “challenging personality”. He believes completely in his analytics model and sees no reason why the club do not follow it. He has been known to claim in conversations around the training ground he has the “ownership mandate”. There has been no mention of Kline on the Fulham website.

Hope not. Fulham are really crap, even Magath couldn't sort the mess.
Why would he? Everything I've heard and read suggests Magath was a total mess himself.

Still he was a higher profile manager with a lot of experience. The club is a mess from top to bottom, I'm not surprised of the above info tbh.

We should loan him to juventus,i think they will do a good job wiyth him, i mean it was good for our last academy player we loaned to them.
On a serious note, he should go to a team that gives him atleast 20-25 full games so that he can further his devlopment.

Is far to good for the Championship imo.

If he cannot get a PL loan, I would prefer he goes abroad to La Liga or Bundesliga.

Cannot believe teams like Hull and Sunderland are not interested.

Look at the midfield Moyes started with yesterday. Rodwell, McNair and Gooch. Do we really want him playing under a manager with that mentality?

He's shown absolutely nothing to suggest he's far too good for the championship. Let's stop overrating all our youngsters shall we.

In fairness they are missing Kirchoff and will probably get M'Vila before the conclusion of the window.

Kirchoff, M'Vila
Borini, Periera, Januzaj
Defoe.

This is decent and would guarantee safety for Moyes imo.

He would probably rather Cattermole, Rodwell and McNair though.

Looks like we want to be 100% sure he's guaranteed games, which possibly means the Championship rather than Premier League at this stage.

Maybe Mou wants him to go somewhere where the manager rates him highly. It seems that Fulham bloke does that, so i am all for him going there, even if he is too good for the Championship. Game time in England is all he needs, and i dont care about Fulham as a club, just Pereira being successfull.

Are they allowed by FA to make another loan from the same club? I think Sunderland is fine with current players. They were unlucky with injuries yesterday. And also they are filled with a lot of young players, I won't try to take a risk to get another unproven youngster like Pereira on loan if I were Moyes not to mention they have Watmore who is highly rated by Defoe. the next Bale.

sorry I have to disagree with that. while I agree we tend to overrate the kids at times. it's quite obvious from what Andreas has showm over the years that he is much better than the reserves and the Championship. He just isn't ready for Manchester United. needs an epl or laliga club.

I agree with this. Too many people in here are overratting them. Footballer isn't just about having talent or having a decent one cup game or pre season game. It's also about mentality and how he can maintain the consistency during the whole season. LVG was to blamed for blocking his loan move last season. He lacks of professional experience football, there is no proof if he's too good for Championship or low PL clubs one of the example recently is Wilson. Championship will be a good professional start for him. Next season we can loan him out again to PL clubs unless if we end up selling both Herrera and losing Carrick without signing a new replacement.

I do rate him highly, but I do not think he's too good the Championship. He needs regular competitive games and the truth is he's far more likely to get that at a lower league team.

Much rather have this than what happened with Januzaj at Dortmund, which I feel has damaged his career.

Send him to Championship until January then re-evaluate.

CBJ has shown more than Periera has in the first team and only got a loan to Wolves.

There are some very good and experienced players in the championship. To imply Pereira is better than the lot of them and should be plying his trade in the toughest league in the country already, just because he's been decent for our reserves, is arrogance tbh. The few opportunities he's had in our first team he's looked okay, nothing special. He has potential obviously, but he needs to develop that. The championship is a perfectly acceptable level for a 20 year old to start that development.

I'm just a bit fed up of reading about how all our young players are the next big thing before they've barely kicked a ball for us. The Januzaj thread is the perfect example of massively overrating a young player, and the same mistake shouldn't be made with Pereira. If he's good enough and has a strong work ethic and professional attitude, his talent will shine through in the championship.

FA rules state you can only take one player on loan from any one given team mate. Januzaj there means they can't take any more of our players.

im always worried about young creative players going to the championship, it a really hard league for that kind pf player to thrive.
