Amazed at the fee. The market has gone crazy.
Just because of this? If that's the case then not a single Barcelona based journo have any credibility left considering they didn't report anything on it right before Barca's confirmation.
Memphis is handsome?Add memphis depay to that list also.
Are you blind or???Memphis is handsome?
Different standards I guess. Calling him ugly would've been too harsh on my part but in my opinion he is certainly closer to ugliness than to handsomeness if we're talking extremes. His nose, those awful whiskers, the dopey look...Are you blind or???
Arda really has no place in a 4-3-3 for a top 2 or 3 club in Europe. I think he'd do well for lots of teams, like in the Giacherrini role for Conte at Chelsea, plugging a hole at RW for us (could push Martial up high and play a sort of Real Madrid with Ronaldo 4-2-2-2) or for Arsenal.
which was shit as wellWho cares we have pogba.
Benfica are getting 25% of the fee.
Cheers....still good25% of the surplus fee.
50€M (Barça fee) - 15M€ (Valencia fee) = 35M€ so 25% of that ( +-9M€) will be for Benfica.
I don't think that applies to everyone though. Lots of Atletico players have done well at other clubs like Curtois, Costa, De Gea, Aguero, Augusto. And many players have not done well at Atletico like Jackson Martinez, Vietto(although he's still young), Cani, Alderweireld. Carrasco is also not the finished article at Atletico which is why he is not a guaranteed starter, he has improved his work rate a LOT and has improved as a player but he was also good for Monaco and was leading their assists stats even though he was inconsistent. Young pacey dribblers are always inconsistent. Felipe Luis wasn't bad at Chelsea, Mourinho just had loyalties to Ivanovic who was terrible last season. Ideally Ivanovic would be dropped and Azpilicuate moved right to accommodate Luis. Juanfran has also done well for Spain.Eh, Simeone seems to be getting great performances from lots of guys. Juanfran for Spain, Filipe Luis for Chelsea and Brazil in particular come to mind. Also Torres being useful, Carrasco looking the finished article for Atletico but not at Monaco months prior (age/experience might be the reason here) or Belgium.
useless / terrible.Anyone that follows La Liga, how has this guy been since joining Barca? I remember us being linked with him over the summer...
