No thanks every time I've seen him play he's been terrible. Do not want at all.
 
Please please please let this be true. Completely out of his depth, offers nothing of note.
 
He's rubbish. The kinda player you wonder how the hell they play for such a big club and how is he called up for his country (based on reputation and not actual performances).
 
Loan with option to buy and try him out in cup games. See if Jose can turn him serviceable squad player.
 
Mendes is such a cnut now, He uses our name to get his clients deals and moves to other clubs while not giving us any good player in return.

Griezmann shouldn't care about Atletico. Playing for Manchester United should be a big opportunity for him but clearly he doesn't see it that way. Look at Coutinho, do you think he gives a feck about his 5 year Liverpool contract? Hell no. He publicly put in a transfer request in order to push for the Barca move.

If Griezmann wanted United, he would have done the same. But he thinks we'll wait for him... that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be honest. Any player should be jumping at the chance to join us. If they don't, they're not the right player for us as they clearly don't know about the size or history of the club.

That's alright, he's also invisible on the pitch as well.

It happened what i expected. I don't think he's a big team player. Hopefully he loses his place in our NT.
 
Barca reject, no thanks.

He is useless, if people get fed up with Mkhi occasionally, he would get slaughtered from our fans.

I don't have the hate for Griezmann some people do, but there is no evidence for your assertion here. My suspicion is that he maybe considered coming to us, his agent heard about the Neymar saga and he decided to hold off to see what his options were. I expect to see him at barca, they will be desperate for a big name and I expect he would much prefer that move. Those people clinging onto the idea he is still going to come to us are going to end up bitterly disappointed, he will be the next Sneijder, we will be constantly linked to him, and his agent will use us every year to get his client a new deal.

Maybe, but I honestly think for once this time that won't be the case with Griezmann and he genuinely has intentions of joining us.

Just too many hints and factors. The phone commercial with José calling him, Pogba being a massive influence, and Griezmann wanting to get out of the shadow of Madrid(CR7)/Barca(Messi) ...what better way than to dominate on the best team in England and one of the most storied franchises in world sports period. Plus him not joining right now was the best thing that could've happened for all parties involved tbh. Allowed us to buy Lukaku. If it wasn't for Griezmann staying to help out Atletico, we wouldn't have been able to sign Lukaku which was a bigger position (ST) of need than Griezmann (no.10/RW/CAM). So at the end of the day, worked out perfectly from United's POV and probably gives Griezmann more clarity to come join us with United looking very strong+promising still being in a transition phase and all...team has really taken off when there was still a lot of questions. I'm sure Griezmann feels a lot better knowing the condition and position United are in, finally on the uprise again and he'd fit right in with the new core.

He's been pretty consistent in saying that he didn't want to leave Atletico high and dry. I'd be shocked if Atleti sold him to Barcelona when they could probably get more money from teams in England.

Would rather just invest in Pereira to be honest. I like Gomes but he is surplus at the moment
 
I wouldn't touch this lad with a bargepole. I was stunned that Barca wanted him, he's nowhere near that level.

Wouldn't go anywhere near. Ineffective supposed luxury player.
 
Andre Gomes would be a much better acquisition off the bench, tall player whose technically good with the ball at his feet than Fellaini
 
Not likely, after Matić, is it? Besides, wouldn't he be the first Mendes player that we would take after Mourinho came?
 
As a few have said this looks like United being used to put out feelers for a player who is clearly not going to cut it at Barcelona.
 
I'm pleased to see how this thread has gone. This guy is terrible. Which was plain to see before his move. Mendes is using our name as we don't even need a midfielder. His ostensibly cunning plot should be met with a social and online media uproar of ridicule of his client humiliating him and staining his image so badly that Mendes will think twice about hitching a ride on United's name in the future

Twunt of the lowest magnitude. Keep your terrible client at that sinking ship of a self righteous and odious club so they can be buried together under the weight of embarrassment. Fecker walks around like a photoshopped Dale Winton thinking he runs football.
 
No Thanks, he is awful. Runs like a giraffe, slow and isn't even strong to at least make up for his speed, poor decision making. Poor mans Fellaini
