Believe it or not, there's people on here that think we need 4 senior CFs and will go absolutely mad if an u23 player has to sit on the bench.
In reality, the u23 player that plays on a weekly basis will likely perform better than the 6th choice senior player who would not have played a game in 6 months were he needed.
Amad deserves the chance to learn from Ronaldo; it could take him to the next level to watch that level of professionalism.

Lots of clubs want him on loan, including Feyenoord. He is a good player and if our next appointment has eyeballs he'll see that as well.
That was one of my most enjoyable United performances in a long time. Technical, passing football, we had Amad, Mata, Donny and Matic all operating on central areas and the interplay was a glimpse of how we should move the ball IMO.

The reason these kids have suffered is because we've been so poor - almost every game won is done by the skin our our teeth and we've never had control of games. If we start to win more convincingly, hopefully the likes of Amad, Mejbri, and Elanga will get more look ins.

Amad and Mejbri should start next CL game, it's a dead rubber and a good chance to see how these young players cope up with senior football.

He's played on the left with us a bit. From what I remember when we signed him and scouting reports were popping up around the place he can play across the entire front line (LW, CAM, False 9, RW)
I'm getting a bit worried about his development to date. Injuries are costly at this early stage and he hasn't had many chances when he is fit. We need to get him some football one way or another.
Not sure that would work as well really. He relies more on balance and agility rather than pure speed. While it might be possible, he's the type of player who'd be better in the centre of the pitch hence why he likes cutting inside from the right onto his left.
I think the LW would be a last resort. I'd love to see him as the CAM or false 9 playing with Sancho, they're both great at the quick 1 touch pass and move style football with great technique.

Greenwood can't do it so I was wondering about Amad.
Whilst it's not a go to tactic - you never know if a poacher like Ronaldo could use crosses from a LW like Sancho can give from the right.
I'm sure he could happily play that role if we wanted him to, but he'd always prefer coming to feet and dribbling than running over the top. I know he has good acceleration but his top speed is fairly average.

That last group game I want to see Amad, Hannibal, Elanga, Greenwood up top, maybe more mins for VDB alongside Matic (experience). We screwed up the League Cup mins for these players and barring an easy 3rd round FA Cup draw they probably won't play much this season.

Would love to see this guy link up with Sancho. Really enjoyed watching Sancho on tuesday and it felt like we´ve missed that level of technical ability and creativity. Amad has a similar style and i think they could enjoy playing together.
