All Time Reserves Draft | Quarters

You know what, if you guys are still looking out for replacements, I wouldn't mind diving in to help continue the draft on. I'd love it if it gets completed as there are some awesome teams that got constructed, and what better way to get into a drafting break than to see of a draft that was about to be sabotaged?

As for the votes, I know other forums do it on the basis of PM's. Might not be easy to manage, and could limit voting somewhat since people may not vote if they have to put extra effort in, but a Pm to whoever started the match, with a reasons why, would keep it somewhat honest.

Unless Tuppet is out too, you only need two replacement managers.

I'd do it myself, but I really have no gas in the tank for this one - very much commend the initiative, though: It should be wrapped up, it seems like the proper thing to do.

If absolutely nobody turns up, I'll do it - but I really prefer not to, not least since I've made some plans now which aren't ideal.

Yeah I feel the same way as Chester for this one. I think his suggestion is the best too and would only possibly require 2 replacements either way.

@Downcast Let's focus on the draft, forget about the recent incidents - we go again, as Stevie G would say.

As for continuing, that's not an option now for several managers - but it seems obvious that getting replacements in isn't a problem.

@Šjor Bepo Cracking on as per the schedule isn't on, so I propose that Tiger/Joga get a walkover if they're interested - and if not, we get someone in who chooses either your team or theirs (same as for Enigma and me).

Semifinalists:

Tiger/Joga

Skizzo, Downcast, harms, Edgar, mazhar - give teams to any of these boys and just roll on.

I personally don't think we should introduce any changes to the format at this stage: In my opinion we should just wrap this one up, and then take some time off to discuss what changes could/should be made.

Just my opinion, of course - but for my money we should just wrap up this one quickly, and then look at the many ideas which have been brought up recently in a more leisurely fashion.

Ish, Revan, Big-Red, milemuncher777, Rado_N, Stobz all have voted in previous drafts I doubt they have something to do with it and Ish especially is pretty regular. I've seen some of the others vote as well before.

I agree, as such - the quickest way to wrap it up is obviously to simply cancel it.

But if people are positively keen on cracking on - well, they should.

I'm mainly interested in discussing new ideas - but like I said, I don't think we should start anything in that regard before this one has been wrapped up, in one way or the other.

If you can get enough of the regulars involved in the thing to actually get a meaningful idea about how said stuff does work (or not) - then yes, by all means, using it as some sort of experiment is a good idea.

Personally, I don't have much enthusiasm for it - to be honest - precisely because it's, well, fecked. Seems more logical to me to take a step back at this point - as far as the whole concept is concerned. The current draft will have to continue now, straight away - which means that any new ideas will have to be implemented straight away too.

Could work - could turn into an even worse clusterfeck.

Anyway, I've said my piece - crack on or cancel, not my call to make.

Don't worry mate. I'm very relax: I have just tried to understand why we had 32 voters and see if the conspiracy theory - claimed by some -could make sense.

I see Muffled Funk follows 7 guys, of which 6 voted for BBRBB. Sure, I can be totally wrong and paranoid :)

That can't be done, as there's just one quarterfinalist left (Tiger/Joga) who hasn't pulled out.

It's easy enough, though: Since I forfeited first, Enigma gets the walkover. And Tiger/Joga gets the walkover too, taking the final s-f spot.

All you need now is someone to take over Enigma's team, and you can proceed with reinforcements, and then on to the semifinals.

Yeah but wasn't it you and enigma in a match, and sjor and RT? I meant Sjor and RT would both move on rather than playing, or did Bepo drop out too?

I'd be lying if I said I had any real clue what was happening here anyway :lol:

* That is, presuming RT/Joga are keen on playing - but I think they are (they certainly haven't formally pulled out).
