The right decision to pair Keane with Scholes despite more pressing concerns I think.
Much like i had with Henry it's too good an offer to turn down. It's a pairing that has your centre mid set and would take you all the the way to the final.

There were a few teams i noted that would have looked nearly unstoppable if they had snapped him up. Yours was one of them though i think you're still gonna be very strong.

To be fair to coolredwine, he had his Arsenal spots tied up with Dixon and Adams.
Replacing Veron was the most pressing issue in the team given the preceding shitstorm and Vieira fits the side like a glove. Obviously we considered Henry but after mapping out the options we felt that Vieira was the better pick.

Carrick, Modric, Alonso all would have lasted till your turn. Not that much of a gap between them and vieira, whereas henry shits on every striker not named shearer,rvn in the draft.

Heh, Vieira rarely ever gets the credit he deserves. He's on par with Keano as the best CM in the draft, what he added to Arsenal as a leader, as an engine, as a technically gifted midfielder, etc was invaluable. He was as important as anyone else in that team. Modric and the likes can dream of having a similar impact on the team.
