Think Rahim plays 4 most of the time and Hussey 6.

Think Rahim plays 4 most of the time and Hussey 6.

True, although I think that's also because of the comparative strengths of Aussie and Bangladesh batting orders.

TBH, all three of Hussey, Ranatunga and Rahim can be rotated depending upon situation.

Have Hussey at 4 because he was an excellent middle-order batsman and out of all everyone else, the best as well. So want him to play the most overs.

Confused on two players. If anyone is free, then they can help me.

Also I'll be calling an early night today. So somebody take my pick.
Let me know if you need help. Feel a little bad about taking a throwaway comment a bit too far. I'm serious.

  1. Ganguly
  2. De Kock (WK)
  3. H Gibbs
  4. R Taylor
  5. Martyn
  6. Saleem Malik
  7. Agarkar
  8. Hogg
  9. Malinga
  10. Waqar
  11. Walsh
12th man: Steve Tikolo

Waqar and Malinga are the front line bowlers. Magnificent yorkers, Waqar with swing up his armoury. Complimented with Walsh who has bounce, pace and a good economy. Agarkar comes into his own later on with swing and skiddy bounce. Hogg not your traditional spinner but has variations up his sleeve. Malik and Ganguly can eat up a few quick overs (off spin and medium pacer)

Top six are all quality batsmen and even Hogg and Malinga can whack a few balls. I think my top four will be the mainstay of our innings while Martyn and Malik are more known as finishers in ODI cricket.

Steve Tikolo is also a useful option. Kenya's greatest he has important knocks against top sides and while unlikely, could stake a place if Saleem Malik gets done for fixing.

I keep thinking Smith is Graeme Smith and was about to ask how he's playing at 3.

Btw, Guldozers videos

^ Aah. I think I know who you are talking about :p. We are thinking of him too.

Btw, @Skills , will there be reinforcement rounds ? And if there will be, will they be snake format too? And if it is, will it be 2 replenishments for 2 sacrifices since teams at the bottom will have a chance to make two quick picks? And if you think, I am putting ideas into your head, you might be right.

Bowling line-up

1. M Johnson
2. C Vaas
3. S Broad
4. A Kumble
5. S Styris
6. R Sarwan
7. J Miandad p/t

Very nice attack. Johnson and Broad strike bowlers and the others build pressure with good variations.

Usually there is. Bottom team will have the 1st pick and then moves up and comes back down reverse order.

I don't see the harm in trades as long as it only is limited to like-for-like swaps like Gilchrist for Haddin.
