My favored 2nd pick was Garner but Samid took him. Very happy with Kohli and Dhoni IMO. Two of the best ODI players of the last 10 years easily, India's 2nd and 3rd best ODI players (I rate them ahead of XXXX) and the best chasers around

paulscholes18 is not online much during his day time based on last draft's experience, so we will have to wait. Most of the others above him are caf addicts so I hope we will be able to complete R2 and take R3 past paulscholes18 tonight only.
Agree, even more for NMs team! They already have Dhoni, so Ganguly would have been a more balanced fit than Kohli.
Hard to believe that Ganguly vs Kohli is even a contest, Kohli is by some distance the superior player.

Absolutely F'ing not. Sourav "I can't deal with a bouncer or anything bowled on middle or leg" Ganguly is nowhere close to Kohli as a batsman. His captainicy and the fact that he brought aggression to the side makes him a legend more than his batting imo.
Still, he is onoe of the best batsmen to watch, so I'll give him points for that. Great player, but not a modern ODI great like Kohli already is
Kohli is miles better batsman than Ganguly ffs. I understand 'old is Gold' and nostalgia and can understand not valuing some of the modern players (can't name) but AB and Kohli are absolute world class and would have done well in previous eras too.

Kohli the better batsman for me too, but Ganguly's batting style might be a little more pleasing on the eye. But not many can absolutely change the game in a few overs like Mr AnushkaKohli. Him, Dhoni, Bev's and a few others

No contest there Kohli is easily the best batsmen.
Kohli is the worst bowler I've seen play international cricket. His action is pathetic. My favourite IPL game was when RCB were defending 205 and had 45 to defend in 12 balls, Kohli got smashed for 28 in the 19th over and RCB lost the game.I am perennially amazed at people recalling incidents from fecking IPL
