In neutral games, both votes count. In your own game only one manager's does if the other manager has voted as well.

Technically I can use Stob's write up from last game but since we are starting the next auction Tuesday. I am worried we won't be able to until he returns. Since this affects me directly, I will need others to make a call here.
 
Is there such a thing as "goal difference" in play here, by the way? Has this been settled on?

Strikes me as a bit tricky. Some matches will attract less attention through no fault of either manager - thus generating fewer "goals". Could end up being a bit arbitrary, in other words.

Which is acceptable, by the way - I mean, it has to be settled one way or the other and short of a rematch or a special poll of some sort, I suppose pretty much anything will be a bit arbitrary.

Has been settled as far as I know. I agree it is a bit of a fluke but either way, counting percentage of votes or total votes, will leave a lot to be desired. I think Crappy went with the right decision, the one which was least bad.

It is down to luck at times but also that in tight matches, many people don't vote at all. Regardless I don't see any scope for controversy given the state of the groups.

Oh yeah.. it actually should be VD divided by total number of votes. I had that rule in cricket draft. That's what we will do here as well.

I prefer the realism of fixture keys after group stages, but if you had it set up that way then managers in Group A shouldn't vote in Group B games and so on. Losing those votes and activity isn't worth it, just randomise.
