All ticket/travel information thread - 2024/25 edition - Please be careful purchasing tickets

How do ST holder transfer tickets to non-members? Do you have to physically meet?

Anyone looking for tickets for the next few months, I’ve just had a ticket alert email (not that I’d signed up for them seeing as we’ve got season tickets).

Just the WHam cup game, unless they all came and went within 45mins?
(and the "cheat" method of re-doing the address bar, but presume you didn't mean that)

yes please mate although ideally I need four which gets difficult but two would work.

Those will be easy to get. You a member?

Yep.
All games bar the big 3 should be easy to get in terms of being a member.
It's the issue that they release them in small batches at random times that's the issue.

Maybe some Newcastle won't be released. I can't do saturday but hope this doesn't set a precedent for the season as clearly not all tickets have been sold...hope they aren't keeping them back for other reasons.

The ticket office are an absolute joke. I'm convinced it's one poor soul answering the phone.

Yep, takes forever to get through and it does feel as if there is only one person answering the calls.

Not sure if the ticket office is opened or if all the staff are still working from home?

Oddly, the last time I rang months back, I got the impression they were starved of attention, working from home. Kept me on jabbering for a while.
Can't imagine they're starved of calls now!

Had to visit the ticket office yesterday to sort out my digital tickets for Newcastle game. Could only see 2 members of staff working.

Anyone else think that whilst our website looks quite nice, it's an actual maze of pointlessness? It's so hard to get to where you need to be. I can't believe they've managed to mess up tickets even more than they had previously, they've really pissed me off today. It used to be a 10 minute phone call max to sort an issue out, I'm not buying the Covid/Work from home excuse anymore.

Website has always been crap.

The ticket office was okay a few years ago but has gradually got worse and worse. It is not fit for purpose now.

Carabao Cup Vs West Ham back on sale to all supporters now after a week or so post Ronaldo where it was members only. If West Ham bring decent numbers to the East Stand Tier 2 (assuming that's where they'll be) it looks like it could be approaching 70k attendance, not sure we've managed that in early rounds of the league cup for a few years.

I've got 4 available for this in Stretford End tier 2.

£28 from me versus £36 from the club

Looks like Young Boys is back on. Does anyone know what the swiss authorities will require anyone who fails a covid test outside the stadium to do? Could be an expensive couple of weeks knowing them..

The only option I have found at the moment is 16 hours 35mins............. From Didsbury - Bern (lots of trains!!)

Just be glad they made it one place to login to your account. It used to be 2 places oddly and you'd be messing about thinking I'm sure I'd already signed in here.

How much out of interest? I couldn't see anything south of about £250 earlier.
Driving mate, if I can organise childcare for my daughter thats what I’ll be doing
Fair play, hell of a drive. Any space?

Haha might have had, but can’t withdraw money from savings in time and childcare a possible issue too.mi may well drive to Atalanta though, if I get tickets will weigh up both options. Gonna open up a nee bank account too so away day funds are instantly accessible

Yeah, that’s a big improvement. I could log into the main site easily enough but it always took me ages to find the place to log into my actual account.

Yer trains look like 250, no go, but on further digging, Manchester to Basel flight or Geneva then train looks like the best option! 150 return to 250 return looks like the price!

Are Champions League away tickets transferable? if yes, can someone help me to get 2 Tickets for Bern?
don't have any away credits yet as I've only had my season tickets for one full season.

Nope, not transferable. I think you'll be fine on no credits, this won't sell out.

Did anything pop up for Newcastle late doors then, or only champions league games 2-3 weeks before?

Just trying to get a handle on whether stuff will pop up for other games in the week before.

Newcastle tickets were on sale right now, but I missed the boat it seems..

In any case, all trains and coaches from London booked, would have had to drive down or something. Not too upset

at best about 20 singles scattered around the ground, including execs according to my mate that you couldn't put in basket. Nothing sizeable unless anyone else saw big blocks released?

I live about 1km away from the stadium in Bern and have watched United on TV for nearly 10 years, been on caf nearly every day for the last 5 years. As a student, I never managed to visit OT/Manchester (yet). Now I read the club might not sell out its contigent. Do you think there is a chance I could join you guys/the real United fans in the away sector? And if yes, is there a difference between the membership and executive membership in order to buy the tickets on the clubs website?

A (childhood-) dream would come true.

Thank you so much in advance for your advice.

The alternative of booking tickets before dates were confirmed was too risky to even consider. Especially the champs league ones that you wouldn't even know which week you were at home.

Do Wonder what the point of those notification alerts were if they don't even send them out.

On another note, does anyone know if there's better odds in ballots as a single or double ticket application?

Buy a membership right now on the website & you’ll be able to buy a ticket online from 6pm this evening mate. You don’t need the executive membership.

Ended up making a last minute decision to buy a ticket for the Newcastle game from one of the online re-sellers, done my boll@x but didn’t want to miss the game and Ronaldo’s debut, especially with the stupid blackout meaning we can’t see it properly on tv either.

Does anybody know what it’s like to gain access with a ticket if you are not yet double vaccinated? I’m going to book a Covid test for tomorrow and take the (hopefully negative!) result up with me to show on my phone. That is sufficient I believe?

You should be fine on Saturday not being double vaccinated. They are only doing spot checks until it is made mandatory. In any case, I think a negative test 48 hours beforehand is sufficient too. Lateral flow may be fine too.

How much did you pay for the Newcastle ticket, out of curiosity?
