All ticket/travel information thread - 2024/25 edition - Please be careful purchasing tickets

I am going to the Chelsea match in the spring. I plan to travel om thursday and home monday. What are the chances the match are to be moved outside of that timeframe?

Monday night will be a possibility i'd imagine. Depends on cup progression etc for both sides.

its scheduled to be the same weekend of the FA Cup semi finals so if either of us or Chelsea make it that far it will be moved for sure.

Hi…..new member. My name is Chrissy.
Was wondering if anyone on here could help me with regards Sunday. Travelling from Northern Ireland to Fulham and looking to know if anyone has any info about where fellow united supporters will be gathering coming down from Manchester pre game?

Thanks

“An initial release of over 7,000 match tickets went on sale at 1pm Tuesday 8th November – the highest number of tickets to be released for a single game this season. A second release of 1,000 match tickets went on sale in the morning of Friday 11th November. A third release of 1,000 will go on sale at 1pm on Friday 11 November exclusively to Official Members and opted out Season Ticket holders. When further general admission tickets or Matchday Hospitality packages are available for this game, they will be listed for sale here to give fans as much choice as possible. If all tickets are sold, the game will show as 'sold out'.

Season Ticket payments for fans who opted in to the scheme will be processed from Monday 5th December.”

So the time for the batch in the morning yesterday was removed, and then there was a further batch at 13:00. What a mess.

In and around Fulham Broadway over Putney Bridge. Eight Bells was the main pub if its still going. You got a ticket?

When you say 'those of us', you don't mean yourself do you? I seem to recall you trying to sell your ticket on here for Real Sociedad & Sheriff.... ;)

All joking aside though, you are absolutely right. I feel it should have been implemented the same way they do for European away games. 3 credits if you attended all 3 games, 2 credits if you attended 2, etc.

Haha yeah fair play mate once was due to covid tbh but I still paid for the tickets :nervous:

I’ll have to watch what I claim around you in the future, you remember my choices better than I do ;)

Some of the ‘cheaper’ £188 tickets were up for Barca late last night…had one in my basket but talked myself out of it.

Settled on a lovely standing section ticket for Burnley instead.

Anyone on here happen to know how likely the chance to buy season tickets is if you’re in the wait list?

Anyone trying to do Barca away?

We are trying through Sport Breaks as I don't have any euro credits

Yeah I'm going with a few mates, we are flying. 2 of us have credits but 3 of us don't so we are hoping it goes down to 0 credits, good luck on the sports break option. Expensive way of doing it though.

Most think it’ll go down to 0 credits. Gonna try, will prob have to travel via Alicante though to keep costs down.

I’ve heard it’s not the best away experience, can anyone chip in on that?

Barcelona via Majorca is also one of the cheaper options for anyone looking. If the allocation is 4.5k like last time it will definitely go down to 0 credits, you’ll just have to be very quick when they do go up.

It's not a great away trip but a game in the Nou Camp has to be ticked off. You are right up at the back of the stand, it's freezing and the police are very aggressive.

Nothing to put you off going though and it's a Euro away so you have a great time whether it's Spain or Moldova.

They are renovating that tier during the WC I’m not sure if our allocation will be as high as the last time but I’d imagine it’ll go down to 0 credits.
I was at the last game… I didn’t come across any hassle with police the only issue is you’re 5 tiers high and it was freezing up there and we were hammered. The day in the square was decent enough though so book a hotel close by that.

I’m probably gonna sit in the home section for Barca away if possible. Used to live there for a year so got some local mates I can potentially go with. Heard it’s easier than getting tickets for the away section.

More likely if you put a deposit down I believe.

There is no ‘wait list’.

It’s luck of the drawer. This summer was slightly different because of people who had got rid of the ticket for one year after COVID.

Other than that it is hit and hope like with any ticket release, as far as I am aware

Mate I literally signed up for the waiting list.

My brother went last time its not the best away trip for sure up in the gods and they have these perspex screens in front of you.
Those Perspex screens are in most grounds abroad that’s nothing new. Sociedad had them last week

More fool you!

I had two friends a few years. One who signed up for the ‘waiting list’ and one who didn’t.

Guess who got a ST the following season and guess who didn’t?

How did the friend who wasn’t on the waiting list, get contacted / buy the ticket?

I read a communication at the end of last season that basically said that the days of ‘ringing the T/o up-at 8am the morning after the renewal deadline to get a ticket’ was not an option. Reading between the lines, they were saying it was the case previously, an often worked.

He rang up on renewal date and asked for one and then got it.

I just don’t believe anything that the club say about tickets and I still believe that if you ring up and have the ability to pay, they’ll accept it.

The only sticking point might be that they appear really keen to force as much traffic through the website as possible so you might not get through to talk to someone and ask the question.

I’d happily bet that when the vacant STs are released, there will be no option for people on the ‘waiting list’ to take priority and it will be a free for all.

Well, I’ll ring up and cover both bases then haha. They pre authorised my card for what it’s worth so let’s see.

btw lads City ballot is open, good luck if you’re getting involved!

If anyone has two tickets for either the Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth or Palace games please give me a shout. Looking for a Christmas present for my little lad.
We’re both members so there would be no issue with transferring them.

I rang just before the start of the 2019/20 season, just to enquire about going on the waiting list.

I was offered two together in the East Stand straight away
.
The entire phone call from start to finish probably lasted under 10 minutes, that was as long as we “waited” to buy our tickets.

I’m only jesting mate, bloody hell. :)
Most posters tend to not say what they “will pay” as it goes without saying that the max they’ll pay is face.
Or original post was tongue in cheek. As was reply. Don’t expect too many spare for that fixture so was looking to boil piss, esp at FV

Does anyone know when there is likely to be news about Barca away?

there's been no updates on the website for a while now.
