All ticket/travel information thread - 2019/20 edition - Touting will not be tolerated on the site

I remember PSV away when Shaw broke his leg some old fart was hoovering up all the little souvenirs they put on the seats within a mile radius. Pointless tat.

There will be Palace and Leicester tickets in the initial sale - the website will have them on the 1st July. Be prepared for a frustrating wait and maybe a couple of crashes as the server gets busy - but persist, you should be able to get them if you do it that day.

At a guess, the Arsenal and Chelsea matches will go to ballot. Basically you register your interest for those but you won't find out if you're getting them until about three weeks before the match.

Any idea what time the tickets go on sale July 1st?

Anyone dig out the dates the tv changes are due all season?

Hope it’s not too hard getting tickets today! Praying for no site crashes but not expecting a miracle.

Managed to get Palace and Leicester before the site decided to crash and put me in an hour long queue again. Called it quits at this. I'll sort more out later if they're still knocking about. Also applied for Chelsea a few weeks back.

"0 to 30 minutes" for about 45 minutes so far...

Edit: Over an hour. So glad to be literally losing hours of sleep because of this club's incompetence.

Was in the queue for over an hour, finally get through and try to buy tickets, had 5 games selected but the site then wouldn't allow me to assign the tickets to myself or my friend who is part of my network. Site keeps crashing and says to phone the ticket office, ring the ticket office and they say to use the website as they are experiencing a high number of calls. Site has crashed so many times and I am now back in the queue... Wait time of more than 60 minutes.

How is it so difficult every year to get bloody tickets!!!

I was the same, then it just kicked me back to the login screen.

Everything on this site, from buying a membership in the first place to actually getting hold of tickets has been a nightmare.

Took 2 hours 15 minutes from queuing at 8:30am but finally got in. Was still a decent amount of tickets in the lower blocks.

Managed to get tickets for the Leicester game and then got kicked out trying to get them for Palace...

We go again.

Still waiting....

Hate this system!

I presume only single tickets are left or are there tickets available for two seats together?

Top work mate.
We always clamour for the fixtures but they don't actually mean anything until tv have had their meddle.

Hey guys!

Turns out with this broken booking system I managed to get tickets for 2 games without knowing (got a bunch of errors + initially got only 1 email confirmation). The issue is, since we live in Denmark, we can likely only travel for one of them. Question is which one would you go to - based on seats, opposition, etc.? The options are:

* Sheffield United · Saturday, 21 March 2020 - N1411 - ROW SS & RR (seats almost behind one another)
* Southampton · Saturday, 25 April 2020 - W3105 - ROW 8 & 9 (seats almost behind one another)

Also it baffles me that I wasn't able to get seats next to each other, but hoping we could somehow switch and/or make do when we get there.

Thanks!

What a Godwaful website.

Been at work all day so unable to buy tickets. Everytime I go on now it just crashes when I allow adobe flash. Tried on Chrome and Edge

That's awkward! If you were same row, and a few apart, people would definitely bump up one. But on a different row, you're either hoping someone's on their own to switch back, and then others bump along, or to mess about with two rows

The pessimist would say go for the earlier game, as more chance of us still being in the mix for something then...but if we were still in the mix, the latter game is closer to the business end...
to conclude..no idea.:wenger:

W3105 has much better atmosphere, but would be standing all game. N1411 has better view as it's on the side of the pitch rather than behind the goal, but a bit quieter and seated all game. Southampton are a better team than Sheffield Utd, so if you want quality then go for that one!

Hello guys, i have a really important question for you. Yesterday i tried to buy tickets for the game against Everton. The problem is when i want to buy tickets on the website, i am getting "We cannot complete your purchase online, to complete your purchase please call or email? Does anyone knows the reason of this?

Probably because you are too slow and everything sold out - just read the posts above yours!

For frig sake..that arsenal game looked certain to be Sun day with a europa the following thur.

Was a rare chance of a wycombe up north sat, united at home sunday combo.
Doh.

I wrote to Mr Woodward about this some weeks ago when the date was announced as 1 july. I mentioned the problems in previous years, it seems by the posts here that they haven't improved. I knew I would be away on 1 July and unable to suffer a few hours of frustration and then not to get the tickets we want - my wife also likes to go but we rarely manage tickets on the same row let alone together!

I said that I wouldn't renew our memberships this year. I even made sensible suggestions for how to improve the system for everybody's satisfaction starting next year. To date I have had no reply.

I've been trying to move (season ticket) seats at Old Trafford for the the last three years to sit nearer to my family. I'm still not even in the same section of the ground.

Except for the odd match like some of the midweeks, it's been hard to get pairs of tickets at OT for a while now, even on the first day of sale. It's frustrating because there are empties at more or less every match, but United don't have a simple, legal way of reselling (or even giving away) seats. They don't even try to group seats.

Can anybody recommend parking for the season?

We have parked in N3 for years but last few years Utd decided to close 2 of the 3 access gates!

Its now a nightmare to get in and especially get out.

Does anyone know how away tickets will work for checkatrade games? Not been to any of those grounds so wouldn’t mind going.

They have a new spur road out of E2 which leads directly out on to the dual carriageway

Anyone looking for a pair of tickets for:

Palace (24th Aug)
Everton (14th Dec)
Newcastle (26th Dec)

Drop me a message

Edit: Palace now gone. The other two will still be available unless I add an update so contact me if you're interested in either!

Ridiculous request but if you don't ask you don't get.

Looking 2 for Liverpool at OT. I'm going to be about the stadium anyway on the day (given the match isn't moved to another weekend) so if someone can't make it last minute I'll happily fill in.
