:lol::lol: Oh dear

Grow up Elvis I know the way you operate and I will give you an opportunity to explain yourself in person, we will see how big a man you are then

How do I operate? I'm not a very big man to be honest, I'm a nice enough one though.

He's only about 18 Paddy, young 'n' learnin'.

I'm 20 next week :(

For what reason? Why does he need to get a reaction from a bloke on the net he doesn't know?

They both need to stop baiting each other and accept the fact that the other thinks they're a feckwit.

Look at it in context Brophs, everyone was winding each other up, Weaste was calling Brad a Nigger and we all came to the conclusion snooker was a racist game. Mike and Spoony also made comments about racism to Crerand, he says nothing. I've a feeling this is all one wind up by CL himself.

18 if only. Elvis has tried to play the big man on here long enough, lets see how big he is when he isn't behind his keyboard. I am an easy going person but I will never be walked over and hold no fear of anyone

Have I ever acted the big man? Ever? I look forward to seeing you in the Tollgate, I'll happily buy you a pint of the black stuff (Not racist).

I haven't even said your a racist. I asked you whether you employed any black people, you said no, and I responded with, "If Microsoft didn't employ any black people questions would be asked."

And they would be, wouldn't they? Am I wrong?

This is all noodle's fault.

Scene: Crerand, doing his best to appear well hard and angry, approaches Elvis in the pub. Elvis sees him coming over, rolls his eyes, puts down his pint and tells the beautiful blonde that he's talking to that this will only take a second.

"Oi, Elvis, why did you call me racist?!"

"It was a joke, you idiot."

"Well i'm not racist, you hear?!"

"No, but you are an idiot."

Confused enough by this brief exchange, Crerand's brain tells himself that he's really taught Elvis a lesson here, it's only later, when he's curled up in fetal position back home in his bed above his pub that the tears come.

"Boohoohoo! Why am i so sensitive about everything?! I swear, as God is my witness, that from this day forward i'll no longer take everything so seriously and become insulted by the merest of jibes!"

Between sobs then though and upon the general buzz of conversation drifting up through the floorboards from the bar below he hears...

"Bla bla bla, mumble mumble crap mumble mumble..."

Crerand breaks. Screaming now:

"OMG! OMG! A swear word!"

Roll credits.

Kinell CL. I don't think anyone could get the impression that he was genuinely accusing you of being a racist

He was, like, really obviously joking.

If he'd wanted to paint CL as a racist he'd surely have picked up on "some of my best friends are coloured" rather than jokingly pointing out that he happens not to currently employ any black people?:smirk:

So you're saying that Crerand runs a racist pub where no one can swear? That's some weird priorities right there.

No doubt the Rooney camp will claim Uniteds lack of ambitions is the reason though. That will portray him as a footballer who is ambitious and wants to be best and not a spoilt brat that has fecked up most aspects of his life in a few months.

Not that any of that will be true though.

He could even throw in a few references to the G&G campaign and con a lot of fans back onto his side too.

Whatever those leeches are doing to our club, make no mistake this latest shit is purely about Rooney and cash.

Agree with the second part 100%. I hope fans can unite behind that stand as well.

This is the problem though. The two things are inextricably linked.

As you say, its all about cash, and the one thing United dont have is cash. That is the one thing Rooney has going in his favour to try ride the shit storm.

I am not for one moment suggesting Rooneys little fit of temper is a damning indictment on the Glazers. Whether the club had £500 million in the bank or owed £500 million I dont think it would make one iota of a difference.

My suspcicion is that Rooneys camp will say that the sale of Ronaldo and Tevez, whilst buying bargain basement players like Bebe showed that United were struggling to match the ambitions Rooney had, and that promises made back in 2004 were being broken.

The real truth is Rooney has seen the stupid money being paid at City, and wants a cut. If United were to pay him that he'd be more than happy to stay. The thing is United wouldnt pay him that money whether he had it or they didnt. There is no way on gods earth that Fergie would contemplate bowing to those sorts of demands.

You can blame the Glazers for so much, but a fat little cnut scouser being a greedy little prick is something even they can't be blamed for.

Pretty much the essence of it all there.

That's pretty much what I meant. Even if we could afford 200k a week, I wouldn't agree with us paying it anyway.

The slightest word from his mouth can turn the attention from him back to the Glazers, hell Must even tried to do that for him earlier.

Amen.

The problem is, due to the debt we will not be able to compete in the near future in the transfer market without getting significantly more indebted.

The figures for net spend, and the crippling and consistent financial losses over the last few years are damning evidence of this.

And you wouldn't expect MUST to get on the bandwagon ?

MUST will no doubt paint this as a sign of how the club is falling behind even City in its ambitions, and the debts are hampering Fergies ability to retain the best players.

I am not going to go into that debate, because in this instance I don't believe its relevant to Rooney.

In general terms, looking at the wider issue, I would definitely question why so many of our better players seem to have ambitions to play elsewhere. Is that something to do with the lack of funds ? The quality of players coming in ?

I dont know. But its a question that I believe MUST would be right in asking.

My concern is that this could have a domino effect. Players like Vidic could see the loss of Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney as a clear sign that United is no longer able to compete on a level playing field and therefore they too are tempted to up sticks. For want of a better phrase "like rats leaving a sinking ship"

I hope to god this doesnt start a domino effect.

But thiats not relevant to the Rooney situation though is it.

I am the most anti Glazer person on here. If I could find a weapon to beat them with, then I'd use it every time.

But I said the other day, when this rumour first broke, that there was a very likely chance that it was true because the way he left Everton was identical to whats happened here.

As soon as the story started to bubble under the surface I knew what was coming, because the way its gone in the last couple of months is exactly the way it went just before he dropped the bombshell on Everton.

I'd love to be able to blame all this on the Glazers. I really would. The truth is I can't.

I am very anti-glazer as well but I think there might be a glimmer of truth here if rooney's first choice is madrid or barca.

I mean if you were him and you turned up to training to play with our lot and you get a text from ronnie saying how brilliant things are with ozil and higuain, or from pique talking about how it is with messi, villa, iniesta, xavi....what would you do?

Rooney is so thick he most probably thinks Ozil is the latest cream to kill zits.

Nice to see that, regardless of what side of the ownership debate we are on, we can all agree that Rooney is a fat scouse judas cnut.
