I reckon we're seriously in for him. Wether we'll get him is another thing.
£37m + Obertan should do it!!!
Not to argue with your main point, but he's more of a possible Messi clone than a possible Ronaldo clone. And I hate to get into the muppetry that making those type of comparisons bring, but his stature and style of play is more like Messi. Both 5'6", speedy, great dribblers, and from the Southern half of South America. He won't be the aerial threat that Ronaldo is and won't be able to body someone off the ball very much. Not saying those are negatives, just differences, as he'll be able to do things Ronaldo can't, as well.
I just hope City don't get him. Apart from him being damn good, my wife is from Chile, and I'd hate to see him tainted. It was bad enough when Gonzales was at Liverpool for a couple of years.
I reckon we're seriously in for him. Wether we'll get him is another thing.

If we are seriously in for him and it's between us and City, he will be ours.
Bollocks to this money stuff, we have so much more appeal.
Ferguson.
Champions League experience.
Genuine title contenders.
Organised squad.
Carrington.
We're fecking Man United.
Tradition.
The list goes on.
Theres no doubt hed choose us over City in a straight choice i dont think thats even up for debate hes said as much in the past hasnt he? plus if he was dead set on joining city then the deal would be done as City have no trouble paying whatever a club demands for a player, the reason its dragging is because Sanchez dosnt want to go there in an ideal world.
Whether we can agree a deal with Udinese is another matter if we're even in for him at all, if Barcelona want him i reckon he'll go there and i wouldnt blame him.
This saga has similarity with balotelli saga,so i think we are not interested..
why? Where would he play?

With regards to position I could see him playing from the left or behind the striker when Rooney doesn't.
There is no reason why Ashley Young couldn't play the same central role that Giggs has played this season, and when Rooney is rested or injured Sanchez and Young could play either of the support striker, left side roles.
I think if we signed Sanchez then this is what would happen, with Darren Fletcher being our Busquets. I would image this would stop and potential Sjneider instrest, although many Fergie is having a mental summer.
Other option is that Nani is off and if he was then it would all make more sense.
Can you imagine a summer with Jones, Young, De Gea, Sjneider and Sanchez coming in. fecking Hell

A Udinese official or their manager has said a couple of months back, that he would prefer Sanchez to go to United because of Fergie & "the way he developed young players such as Rooney, Chadwick & Ronaldo into world class performers..!"
Imagine we had Nani, Sanchez, Valencia & Young as our wide options!

Barcelona want Rossi though, he is their main target and they have publicly reported they have only 45m euros to spend his summer.
He has said he would prefer Spain, but if there is only us and City in for him, we have an opportunity to get ourselves a world beater, while bitch slapping City into remembering their place at the same time!

Inter are in this too according to Udinese.
I will record myself taking a dump and eating it if we sign Sanchez, Sneijder or Nasri, De Rossi or Lass Diarra.
I now fully know what tranfer muppets in action are like

@PaoloBandini said:City fans can take at least 1 positive from Gazzetta reports. Not long ago, Italian hacks wd have referred to United simply as 'Manchester'

Our formation next season?
De Gea
Valencia Ferdinand Vidic Park
Nani Modric Sanchez Young
Rooney Hernandez
Nothing wrong with that at all.

Except for the fact that Sanchez is in no way a central midfielder nor is he ever likely to be.
