Well by all accounts hed rather join us than City, but then if as it seems is all but done we're signing Young where does he play?? i must say i dont see us signing both Young and Sanchez on top of the wide players/forwards we have already, unless someones offski?

Yeah i said that on the last page, its almost exactly what happened last summer with us supposedly coming in late for a well known summer long City target, at least this one would be worth getting mind and Fergie has said we've looked at him before.
With regards to position I could see him playing from the left or behind the striker when Rooney doesn't.
There is no reason why Ashley Young couldn't play the same central role that Giggs has played this season, and when Rooney is rested or injured Sanchez and Young could play either of the support striker, left side roles.
I think if we signed Sanchez then this is what would happen, with Darren Fletcher being our Busquets. I would image this would stop any potential Sjneider intrest, although maybe Fergie is having a mental summer.
Other option is that Nani is off and if he was then it would all make more sense.

There is absolutely no way we are going to sign him, probably his agent using us to get a better deal out of interesting sides or simply Udinese trying to squeeze more money out of City. Anyway, I still feel we should have moved for him at some point in the last two years as we were clearly interested, he wouldn't have cost that much if he had been lined up as Ronaldo replacement that Summer.
