Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

#Sanche7 I reckon.

And all the marketing material will say SANCHEZ in white, but the bit of the Z that looks like a 7 will be in red. Or vice versa.

It writes itself, and we do know Manchester United love crowbarring numbers where they just barely fit.

:nervous:

Please continue the argument. We may reach 1000 pages by the time the club finally announces the transfer

It'll either be #AlexIsUnited or #Sanche7

More going towards the first as he has Alexis on his shirt

This has to happen soon. I've reached the stage where I'm unable to do anything but refresh this thread and twitter. It should happen any moment now, surely? How can work permits delay everything? Can't they just announce it 'subject to work permit' if it takes another day to sort that out? The fact that they haven't done that makes me think work permits will be sorted today and they'll announce it without any 'subject to'. But please, for the love of god, do it soon Man Utd and Arsenal ok?

Someone got the image with the stats from sanchez which was posted in here yesterday? It was goals/apps/assists from each position LW/RW/CF and so on. Can't find it anymore :(

Don't understand this fcbarca guy. You love pep? Ok, go on man city thread and write poems there for him, nobody will mind; but to come on this thread and clearly provoke us, is really stupid thing to do.

The (1) came up on twitter on United's page, got so excited. Was just little Juan giving his thoughts :(

Did @FCBarca just get given the City Lover tag or did he have it for a while?

Chuckle

There's not a player in the world would choose United over City these days.

Funny you could actually see Wenger wanting Mkhitaryan as he'd probably get a better tune out of him than Mourinho.. still there's no way Alexis is going to that shithole

The Mkhitaryan part makes me think it's bullshit. Swap deals aren't real.

They are getting giddy on the caf :)

This has dragged on for way too long. If City somehow screws this up, this will be embarrassing.

Manchester United SNUBBED.

Odd move from them, they face being publicly rejected in favour of their rivals and will come off as desperate when he inevitably signs for City anyway.

so he'll be signing for city in the week then. happens every time hehe
"hehe" is the battle cry of the insecure.

Sanchez never suited Pep's tiki-taka. He hardly played for Pep and only won the EUFA Super Cup with him as a manager. Sanchez likes to run with the ball, Pep likes his players to pass oppositions to death. Sanchez was mostly subbed on for a few minutes or subbed off almost every time he started with Pep. Pep called him names, including calling him the son of a whore and publicly humiliating him on the touchline. Yet, despite all of this, all of the media and all of bluemoon pinned their hopes on Sanchez signing for City because of his special relationship with Pep? They're all laughable.

Do you guys reckon Alexis will stay at UTD longer than he did at Arsenal?
Would be funny if he becomes synonymous with us rather than them

Announce him and shut this thread please! It's affecting me so much I've had to create a word to explain it.

TRANSCASTINATION.
noun

To delay or postpone everything ( including your freelance work you really need to finish so you actually earn something to pay the bills with...) while waiting for a transfer saga to end.

Makes sense not to sign him for a week or so, we don't play Spurs until the 31st so we can save 2 million in wages, addons, petrol and dog food.

"Octogenarian football capitalist pig dog spits in face of beneficent Pep, manager of charity football club, and devalues sterling with his exorbitant wage demands"

Wouldn't matter to my mind. If he stays just 2-3 years but wins the CL and a couple of PL titles, he'll always be associated with us anyway. Hardly like people recall he spent almost as much time with Barca as with Arsenal!
