Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

It is evident both players will come to the training. Still feel the transfer is going to get wrapped up but in a day or two.
If it was being completed today something concrete would have been finalised by today.

To be fair mate, it's evident none of us have any clue what is going on

Yep, I feel like today will be the day, finally.

Back in the day I'd be glued to SSN, but it's 2018, and they're probably still reporting that City are favourites.

It comes from Di Marzio I think, so from Raiola. He reported a couple of weeks ago that City had agreed terms that were almost the same. These were reported as net figures and people have added 45% tax on to get the £500k figure.

I think it is possible that the net figures are right but am hugely sceptical that he will be paying all his tax and will costing the club £500k a week.
How would Raiola know what Sanchez has been offered? I thought Fernando Felicevich was Sanchez's agent?

Nether will be at training.

Deal to be finalised today.
Hoping before 12 so he can get some minutes tomorrow, but that is just wishful thinking. I'm sure José would like a couple of training sessions with him first.

Finalising the deal today is the only thing that makes sense to me from a marketing perspective. I think our next four games are away. We should wrap it up today and go for a 'big' announcement before tomorrow's game. Sanchez should at least be at OT tomorrow even if he is not playing.

Wenger actually said 24 to 48 hrs for for the record

Yesterday? I thought those were his words on Sunday? Wasn’t it 24 hours yesterday so both players could play on the weekend?

So he should be at OT tomorrow if he is playing?

Thought we peaked yesterday. But then you get this

"Alexis has done the dirty Sanchez on Pep Guardiola by picking Manchester United."

This should have been the headline. It would have been very Sun-like and also true in this case :D

This is just awful. Like he is going to china instead biggest club in country. Really pissed now about all this city/guardiola love . Like they are the best thing in football

“Money and no trophies or pep” the PED king has won nothing in England yet such short memories must forget Jose won two trophies in his first season while lord pep of moral high ground struggled last season.

I normally quite like Neil Ashton, as much as the Sun is absolute garbage. But my word he has went right off the deep end with this article  abandoning morals ffs, I suppose that's exactly what Pep didn't encourage in the Summer and every day since when City were trying to sign him in the first place?

Sport Witness has been one of the few sane media outlets following this story. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the mainstream media has been bizarre in its coverage of this transfer.

I now see why Jose uses terms like 'garbage news.'

For all we know, this has been done just not announced. Sanchez is down in London, we have offices down in London where contracts could easily have been signed.

That is comedy gold. I suggest everyone read this.
Not giving the Sun my clicks, but my word! "Morals, Principles. Trophies". Wonder why he hasn't "revealed" (as an "exclusive" of course) that for the privilege of playing for St. Pep of SaltyBalls, players are asked to pay Manchester City 400K a week and these proceeds are applied by the CFG to support underprivileged children in Somalia...

Would that be like a hazing ritual seeing as all his teammates would be at Burnley? Bit mean on his first full day I think.

Hand on heart, as much as I like Sanchez as a player, I now want to sign him as much to see the meltdown from the mainstream media and Man City's cheerleaders as anything else.

This transfer hasn't simply boiled p!$$, its turned it to steam.

The football media in our country has suddenly turned into a parody of itself.

Ha ha! Daily Scum defenders of morals and principles.
Can't wait for this to happen for the scary potential of having Pogba, Sanchez, Martial and Lukaku in attack. Plenty opportunity for Lingard, Mata and Rashford to.
