Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

35M + Mkhi doesn't make sense, so are we selling Mkhi for free. It was always stated the deal was straight cash, so Mkhi should be a separate deal where Arsenal should pay us some money, presumably close to 20M. Whats the deal here?
Mkhitaryan is factored into the 35m.

If Arsenal sign Auba/Malcom, we will probably get Sanchez for 35m cash. If they don't and they need a replacement from us, it'll likely be 10-15m + Mkhitaryan

It's obviously not true. I expect that to be made clearer in the coming days.

Mkhi is at the very least a £20m player.

Just be grateful that they're helping us offload our deadwood.

Agree. We will surely have agreed a price with Mikki and a cash price. I suspect we are just waiting for Arsenal to get their replacements locked in and we will announce it.

No way it's true. Arsenal value Sanchez at £35 million, I guess we value Mkhi at around 20-25 million so the deal is likely to be 10 million + Mkhi.

Exactly. Let us not be over generous in getting Sanchez that we are giving Mkhi for free. But as you said things will get clear in coming days.

Gawd, Arsenal's stock must've fallen - there was a time when merely the prospect of living in London might be enough to attract a decent foreign player.

Meh idrc, Mikhi is pretty much a player dump at this point. If you can dump him in a deal to get Sanchez to lower the fee, why not

I'm absolutely howling at "say what???"

It's great how genuinely irked he is by this.

SAY WHAT??? :lol::lol::lol:

It's not just the fee though. Letting Mikhitaryan go also frees up wages.

This. He is quite clearly not up to the task and getting rid of his wages is worth taking a loss on his transfer fees if that's even what is going on, which we still don't know.

Exactly. I'm not sure what he's earning but a large chunk can go towards Sanchez's wage and take a loss on the player given we are getting Alexis for less than half his actual value.

Not sure why people are outraged. The club isn't daft. Hence us making record breaking profits year after year.

I read Mkhi is on 200k

Can Sanchez speak English? Don't think I've ever heard him speak.

I remember in the summer and the first half of the season when everyone was asking "why aren't we in for Sanchez?" and I thought we had no chance. Ed Woodward you beautiful balding fox, always a trick up your sleeve

He’s still crying

Seriously, one thing the online community is good at is they can smell hurt even though you try to hide behind clever words. And when they smell your hurt, like piranha to blood, they are going to have a field day.

Good luck gullem

The only thing that seems to be holding this up is Arsenal's need to sign a replacement so this really could take a while. What top class player would sign for a club who have let their two best players run their contract down and leave within months of each other?

United will most likely take a bath on the transfer fee to help convince Mkhitaryan to sign for them. They really are an embarrassment.

Twenty years after Alex Ferguson began to actively pursue Marcelo Salas - it looks like Man United have finally got their man.
