Clearly there would be some cash going there way aswel as mikhi. But the answer to your question remains the same, if the reports are true, the reason we'd let mikhi go to arsenal over going abroad would be because he's a player they want that would help us get a player we want...ie sanchez
After all the Ozil talk this would be like all the public flirting with Morata and turning around and signing Lukaku.
He surely is. And he isn't very fond of Pep as he sold him to Arsenal against his will. Sanchez and Shaw will terrify every right back in the Prem.Wasn't Sanchez a United supporter?
This will be his third time being a United supporter.Wasn't Sanchez a United supporter?

Make it happen Woody.

We'd surely play him on the right. In a fluid front three, starting positions aren't as important anyway.I don't want him. He loves playing from the left so will just be taking more playing time from Martial.
I agree he wants some mega money to sign, but it depends how much he wants to win the title. Obviously, it's likely that City would get another one if he signs a 3- or 4-year contract, but if he signs in January he's basically signing for a medal on top of his mountains of money. I think even if we offer him over £2million extra per year in wages, he would still go to City, for example. If City are willing to pay him in excess of £200k per week, I don't think there is much we can do as £300k a week would already be pretty silly and probably around the maximum we'd go to anyway.According to reports (Di Mazrio) if he signs for City in this window he get £15m signing on bonus instead of £30m if he signs in the summer because City will have to pay a fee. I bet he wants that full £30m to sign now. He wants mega money IMO, that is his primary concern, if City don't give him what he wants he will sign for us.
Interesting how Pep sold him being a manager of BayernHe surely is. And he isn't very fond of Pep as he sold him to Arsenal against his will. Sanchez and Shaw will terrify every right back in the Prem.
Lots of rumours that Man City want him this month (rather than the summer).
Arsenal want £35m for him.
Man City want to spend £20m on him.

Why aren't we even trying for him btw?!
Players who play on that right wing forward have freedom to roam infield. See Mata/Lingard/Mkhi. No one plays as a hug the line winger.Buy Sanchez and play him out of position?
Would like us to get him - the only reason he'd maybe not go to City is that getting as much game time is probably a little less likely. He would nail down the Right Forward position at United, while at City he'd have to try and displace Sane and Sterling. Doesn't sound difficult on paper, but they're in such good form and suit how City play, I'd expect quite a bit more rotation. The only other thing I can think of is if Aguero is planning on leaving for some reason, which I doubt, so playing as the no.10 is very unlikely.
The option of off-loading Mkhitaryan would suit Arsenal if we still offer a bit of cash on top, as they keep a decent player for a similar position and are forced to play Lacazette as the main striker which I'm sure Arsenal fans want to see even more of.
Either way, if Sanchez has as much of a say as we think, he'll go to City for a guaranteed Premier League title. It's Robin van Persie again to the more likely better side for the time being. Our only chance is if we are offering significantly more money, but he can probably do as well at City money-wise anyway, and it's a shoe-in for more immediate success.
*taps nose*

Perhaps City are now a bigger club than us because they have Pep Guardiola or something.

Absolute rubbish
This will be his third time being a United supporter.
Well if it’s NOT true we will definitely go public and deny it soon, so let’s wait and see.Someone just wants City to pay up the required cash. Nothing story...
Maybe he would play in an interchanging front 3 with Lukaku and Martial. Sanchez isn't really a wide player, he is much better in between the lines.I don't want him. He loves playing from the left so will just be taking more playing time from Martial.
Same as everything elseOnly no one in English media knew shit about it.
