Alexandre Pato

Before the Qataris took over there was a hatred based on much media cover a club like PSG could get despite being regularly shit. They're the "bling bling" football club of the country, the one that most celebrities support whereas they are mostly clueless about football.
Now it's even worse with that amount of crazy money they have available and the fact that Leonardo fired a coach who has done well despite the huge pressure. It's the only way they have found to compete with Lyon,Lille and Marseille.
I find it disgusting the way they treated Kombouaré but apparently he didn't have enough prestige about him. They're what's wrong with current football

We should all hate PSG. The French Man City. Can't stand it. Malaga too. Hope they all get relegated.

Thanks. Sounds like I'd agree.

You know much about Mevlut Erding? Pato signing should push him out the door and we're one of the clubs after him supposedly.

Apparently he's a bit average.

Erding was supposed to sign for Newcastle last summer but a very good performance from him in a match convinced the owners to keep him (with Hoarau being injury prone and all).
Erding is a good/ok player but at the wrong club and context, he needs to leave that place. He also has his fair share of injury problems, I think a move abroad would be good for him.Like a start over or something

Cheers, I know he's a PSG fan so I could see why he would have wanted to stay and try and fight it out. Apparently he favours staying in France rather than moving to England or Turkey.

We seem to have the French market sussed so I guess we see something in him that he would bring to our team. We're desperate for a reliable forward of any description tbh.

PSG, being in Paris could be a huge club in Europe in future.

With all the money they have ,surely they will be a lot bigger force than Lyon or Lille etc

Not OOTQ to assume it's tied in with the collapse of a potential Tevez deal.

why not some sort of Pato for Tevez swap?

Surely there's not that much difference between PSG and City for a guy like Pato.

Milan were gonna make a big mistake by selling pato ang signing tevez. They are lucky pato refused.

I think that whilst pato may have rejected psg, the fact that Milan accepted the offer shows that he is available. I expect some serious offers from bigger clubs in summer. Would be gret he it was us.

Would have him here in a heartbeat! A wonderfully, gifted player but unlucky with injuries. I remember watching in his first two seasons with Milan, the trickery and the skill was just brilliant!

Why the feck was everyone saying it was confirmed before then?

fecking press!!!!

Milan don't want Tevez anymore. That deal is dead. They shouldn't even have been in for him in the first place.

Excellent player, but we need fecking midfielders. Also, Milan need a change in leadership or some more funds, if they considered selling Pato. fecking nuts.

Is it true that French football fans hate PSG?

Nothing really of the sort. Most of the football fans in France are quite interested in PSG since it's helping to increase the profile of the league. The folk here in the banlieues or suburbs of Paris, the 'working class', are fanatics. That said, the sacking of the coach, Koumbare, and some of Leonardo's decisions have been seen as very "Man City-ish".

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo. :(

EDIT: Okay, this looks all wrong now. The 'no' was related to his move and not the fact he's staying. feck you, relx.

I was actually wondering if you were a Milan fan instead :D

he averages 1 goal every 2 games and i've seen him played out wide a lot for AC Milan. If he can keep fit he's a great player, bags of ability and a real eye for goal. He's got great pace, finishing, can beat a man, fairly two footed, wonderful technique...

If he didnt have his injury problems i reckon he'd be up there with the best in europe by now. Unless he has a shit attitude... which he might to be fair but the tools and tallent are certainly there.

He's certainly not shown to have worse attitude than Robinho, Zlatan, Cassano or a striker Milan want, Tevez. So I doubt that's the problem.

Guy needs to be fit. Work hard next summer.
