Fifa would suggest he's okay at them :D also speed and stamina. Just hope he can defend to some extent...
 
I have no idea if this quote is real. Or where it's come from. But here you go:

So for all those reading the Dutch forums, what are they're fans saying about him?
 
My scout on FM says he's a left midfielder, and that he would be a good signining for most PL sides.

Seems like a slight panic buy, we were unable to sign the back up left back that we wanted and our three right backs are always injured! I doubt that the scouting staff have high hopes for him, more like a convenient and cheap short term solution, brought on by the sale of Rodwell to City strengthening Everton's position on Baines.
 
He played 32 times in the league for Vitesse last year, 24 as a left defender, 2 as left midfielder and 6 times as a left winger in their 4-3-3 system.
 
Well, at least we've got cover for Evra. That's what's important. He's almost made 100 appearances in the Dutch League, so he's no rookie.

Was Jorge Mendes involved? I hope so. I don't like the idea of us doing a deal that doesn't end with us bunging him a few million quid. I worry about him.

If he's kept out of the dutch national side by Jetro Willems, who may be talented but is very young, inexperienced and naive I'm slightly concerned.. but managers can have their favourites so we shall see.

In fairness the Dutch were utterly abject so I think we can assume a lot of mistakes were made. Perhaps he was one of them.
 
No Baines then, which is good news.

I hope he gets some games and looks decent, just because I don't want to close my eyes when I see anybody tackling Evra.

Yes, but once he's here he'll be in the national squad just because of his new CV.

I'm thinking this might be a signing that will solve the odd games that Evra need to rest. It's not a big deal playing 80% of the season for Evra it seems. And honestly, having both Baines and Evra on the same position is not healthy in any way. You would have the sad face of Baines from the bench every other game. It's just stupid competition.

Another positive thing is that RVP get a dutch person in the squad. Such things are always important, eventhough it's not sure they'll become friends at all.
 
Just asked a few Dutch lads that used to play this online game with me when I was younger, and this is what they have to say about him:

"He's 23, quite young. Nice shot"

"He can play winger too"
"He could become a great player"
"hmm, he can become a great talent"
