Comparing selling Garnacho to selling young Ronaldo is pure lunacyI bet you’d have said that about Ronaldo too.

He’s simply not as good of a player.
Garnacho is 20 and Kvara is 23, let's not exaggerate. No but Garnacho is a lot younger and hasn't asked for a transfer like the other guy has.
Probably the most overhyped young football player ever! He’s a bang-average talent, I just don’t get the hype. He wasn’t even that impressive in the academy. He can’t dribble, he can’t shoot, he lacks technical ability, he hasn’t got anything special to offer.
Thats probably why hel go for more than Rashford. No but Garnacho is a lot younger and hasn't asked for a transfer like the other guy has.

3.33 if you want to be accurate.3.5 years is a lot younger in my world
He's a hazard to our attacking play at times.Swear people would have you think we were looking into selling a young Hazard or something.
Kvara going for a base fee of £58 million. We can't seriously ask for more than that if we wanted to sell Garna.
RIght? and I'm saying that's what I would value him at less than Kvara.A seller can ask for whatever fee they want. It's up to the buyer if they want to pay that or not.

Antony is a fairly obvious outlier. That is very flawed logic. By the same token we should be saying if Antony went for 80m we should ask for 800m for Garnacho.
He's not world class, but what he has shown in the last couple of years at his age is more than enough to assume he'll be a top player. If these reports are true about what Napoli have offered then that offer is quite unimpressive. Would we get a player of his profile, the age, the current modest wages, for 35-40m if he was already at a top club?
When the initial reports of 60m (quid) from Atletico came out I thought it was a tricky offer to contemplate. But short of that, it feels more of a risk to sell him than hold on to him, depending on his character/professionalism (i.e. on the spectrum Evans - Rashford).
I agree, but my biggest criticism of him is that he seems quite mentally fragile. I don't think he'll be a top player for that reason alone.Garnacho’s decision making and final ball is shocking. I’m glad Amorim isn’t wasting any time in making his mind up on players.
Too many are unable to come to this conclusion though because he’s “an academy player”.I honestly don’t think he’s that good. Capable of the sublime? Sure, however his decision making, passing and positional sense are not remotely top level.
What’s interesting is that he got so much praise for his performance against Arsenal (even from Bruno) when his only good thing of note was carrying the ball unchallenged for 15 yards then playing a square ball. Did he make the right choice? Sure and that was “good” for him but we should be aiming higher.
I’d take £50m based on the promise that he MIGHT get better.
I don’t think he’s as talented as Januzaj for instance and certainly nowhere near Greenwood/Mainoo
A Martinelli type player then.Too many are unable to come to this conclusion though because he’s “an academy player”.
I think his ceiling is a solid player on a top 4 club or so. Potentially a rotational type piece.
Sure as feck don’t think we have some footballing marvel on our hands, so I’m not sure why so many are trembling at a 50-60m sale
Yes that’s been my comp for him for a while actually. And Arsenal fans themselves have been ready for an upgrade on him for a minute.A Martinelli type player then.
Is it shocking when looking at his goals and assists? Erratic and inconsistent for sure, but hardly shocking. Are most 20 year olds a little erratic? I assume as much.Garnacho’s decision making and final ball is shocking. I’m glad Amorim isn’t wasting any time in making his mind up on players.
That’s not particularly hard to do given what Garnachos level has beenThere's no upside to selling him unless we're going to sign someone better.
'Pure profit' can't play on the left wing.
We don't play a left winger anymore, which presumably is part of the reason we might be looking to sell. There's no upside to selling him unless we're going to sign someone better.

I mean just look at his take on numbers now compared to his breakthrough season under ETH. Or feck just watch actual matches of now compared to then.Is it shocking when looking at his goals and assists? Erratic and inconsistent for sure, but hardly shocking. And to other posters, we do love to say our players have lost pace; now even at the age of 20, with no injuries to speak of.
You are comparing him to Januzaj ? Think they are poles apart to be honest.I honestly don’t think he’s that good. Capable of the sublime? Sure, however his decision making, passing and positional sense are not remotely top level.

He isn't good enough for Madrid. You are comparing him to Januzaj ? Think they are poles apart to be honest.
Garnacho frustrates me a lot because some simple little improvements could make him much more effective. It does seem he is willing to adapt though as he had his head up a lot more yesterday.
He will be a very good player, weather that is with us remains to be seen, I would much rather take the chance of keeping him and seeing if he can get to the next level and adapt to a new role. Just my opinion though , although think if his career goes to plan his end game is Madrid.
Conte revealed that he asked out at the end of last monthWhy are Napoli selling Kvaratskhelia?
He’s 20 years old, none of us know what the future holds for him. He could go all the way or Peter out to mediocrity. He’s made a pretty decent start though. He isn't good enough for Madrid.
Getafe maybe.
I do and it doesn't involve Real Madrid. He’s 20 years old, none of us know what the future holds for him. He could go all the way or Peter out to mediocrity. He’s made a pretty decent start though.
You lose me when you say he’s shown enough to assume “he’ll be a top player”. Garnacho has had a shite load of minutes for his age and he’s rarely been able to even put together a complete 90 minute performance of constant danger. He has clear flaws that aren’t magically fixing themselves with more game time and it also seems as though he’s lost some of his take on explosiveness he had when first breaking through.
People look at the decent G/A and his age and just assume he’ll be a future star without looking at any other context.
