Arsenal is a club held hostage by money-men...and those money-men include Wenger.
It's hard to take that Troopz bloke seriously when he talks like such an uneducated moron, even though I agree with some of his points. Although most of them he has just recycled from more intelligent analysts and packages as his own.
I don't like how these things only seem to promote some 'celeb' fan. An outlet for people who likely say "I'm mad me, all my friends say I'm just bonkers!" at least once a day. Entertaining once or twice but he's becoming more annoying than people who go on Big Brother to get famous. You've had your 5 minutes mate, now feck off.
If anything, they've gone backwards. Their anger is 100% justified. 10 years of the same old shit with no reaction from the manager or board, yeah, I'd be tearing my hair out too.Strip away all the pathetic blud fam nonsense and troops makes some good points there.
As he says, Arsenal moved to the emirates to compete with teams like bayern. They have been there 10 years now and where's the improvement?
Arsenal fans [and generally fans of big clubs] are very hard to take serious when they give it the "woe is me" attitude.
Loads of clubs up and down the country are in tremendously worse situations. In the Premier League you have a club like Sunderland whose fans have to put up with relegation battles year in year out and a load of shite to watch and go further down there are clubs full of problems struggling to stay afloat.
Arsenal Mania said:The time under Wenger has been like a TV show that reached its zenith around seasons 3-5 but they kept stretching it out until season 20 because although the quality was a distant shadow of its former self, it kept making money.
This show should not be renewed next season, in my opinion.

different sized clubs have different priorities. if United were in relegation form, would you be thinking, 'well, it's not all bad, sunderland have to deal with this all the time!'. i doubt it.
That's honestly peanuts to see a Champions League tie between two massive clubs at a fabulous arena. It costs $150 to go see the Red Wings play a blasé regular season game and they won't even make the playoffs. And that'd be with me driving there. I couldn't imagine how much I'd have to pay to fly/hotel/ticket to, say, Tampa, for a playoff game.Jeez they spent £352 on that and Arsene didn't even greet the fans.

Watching the same season for ten years and knowing it wont change until Wenger leaves is sufferingAbsolutely agree that different clubs' fans should have different expectations, but when fans of big clubs talk about 'hurt' and 'suffering' because they only win FA cups and finish 2-4th in the league, it gets a bit too much for me.
Underachievement and disappointment? Yes. Suffering? Get the feck out of here.
We're at least attempting to fix our problems, Arsenal have been content to do the same thing for a decade. It'd be very amusing if we weren't a joke ourselves.

Everyone said:That's quite enough of that shit, thank you.
The fact some of our fans, however few, were actively hoping we lost the FA Cup final, or got more joy from LVGs sacking than winning it, was beyond ridiculous. It still annoys me. But there is an argument to be made that without such vocal OTT entitlement, we'd have endured that rut for longer.
The last few years have exposed some extraordinarily spoiled members of our fanbase, but if Jose gets us back to the top, they'll have essentially been proved right, and possibly even crucial, however unpalatable.
It's an odd one, cos I'm with you in the main. But I can't deny being an entitled prick may have its benefits. Or at least having a few in your (**ahem**) Arsenal.

But if that's the case you have to question Wenger's integrity if he sticks at a job where owners are refusing to back him financially. If Wenger isn't getting the money that he should be then he should have left ages ago. At worst he is getting the money and can't use it effectively, or at best he's being denied funds but doesn't have the bottle to stand up to his employers. Neither reflects that well on him to be honest.
You seem obsessed with the way a person speaks and less interested in what they say. Go watch some bowls and I'm sure you'll find less "blud fam" that bothers you so muchStrip away all the pathetic blud fam nonsense and troops makes some good points there.

Remember, its a well run 'financial model'Arsenal is a club held hostage by money-men...and those money-men include Wenger.
