You make it sound sinister when in reality that was just for the love egg she put in his bum.Not saying that it’s evidence but I saw her sat in the stands at Juventus with a remote control

You don’t do what your mum tells you to?Why does everyone think his mum is controlling him? This gets said all the time but I've yet to see evidence of it.
She’s not controlling him, you weirdos, she’s his agent. She’s performing the job she’s contractually obliged to.
Handy or blowy? It might help, that’s all I’m saying….She’s not controlling him, you weirdos, she’s his agent. She’s performing the job she’s contractually obliged to.
I think he's class and would be a starter at United...
Ahhh what came first, Rabiot or the egg?You make it sound sinister when in reality that was just for the love egg she put in his bum.
What's the rumoured package he actually wants? Seen loads talk about him asking for excessive wages but not seen what those actually are.
He's a free agent so the wages are always going to sound mad.
don't. Please can we pretend this conversation never existed.Ahhh what came first, Rabiot or the egg?

Apparently a £12.6m signing on fee and £8m a year which is around £150k but we don't know if that's gross or net which makes a huge difference
Yes and no, if the £150k net is accurate that means in UK the gross will be around£ £300k a weekStill seems like a reasonable price

How many football players 'need' the money? They're hardly in the poor house.
Best convo in the thread please keep goingdon't. Please can we pretend this conversation never existed.
It wouldn't change much if it did, our manager still plays a suicidal brand of football.Any chance this is happening?
Yep. The narrative around toxic Rabiot and his evil mum is bizarre.Warra bitch.

Premier League players have a great retirement plan and funds. There are players that have pissed it all away gambling and are doing better than the average person despite barely working because of that safety net. Also, if they're not out there burning bridges they have a huge network of job opportunities. If a player goes bankrupt he goes back to the square 1 of a young nepo baby. Most of them are temporary cash millionaires save for the ones that are financially savvy or surround themselves with trusted advisors that are
Lovely jubbly. Anything worth reading in the other 3 threads?Good stuff, only 4 threads left that this isn't being discussed.
Yeah seems that way. Any excuse to use United's name to push the signing on fee up.Yeah we’re not signing him. They’re just using our name.

It's well known his mum and Rachel Riley are trying to ban football. Why does everyone think his mum is controlling him? This gets said all the time but I've yet to see evidence of it.
Are people really thinking he wouldn't get a game for us?Count me in as well. that makes three of us. Wasn't @JPRouve also on our side?
It's an idiom of sorts. Good terms just means there are no issues. They get along fine. Which indicates a degree of communication at some point. What terms?
Have we signed any player she manages ?
He's not gonna do that, he wants his washing done! You would think if that was the case then quotes will have leaked out saying he's not happy with the level of demands his mum has made
agreed....clearly his wage demands have put off everyone not a lack of talentIF he wants a move bad enough then his mum needs to be more flexible with her demands
Wow is his mum really his agent? His mum? A football agent? Mad. Imagine having a family member who wasn't your Dad, or brother or an uncle, or a male cousin, as your agent. Mad. His actual mum. Bet she's moody. And temperamental and unreasonable.
I remember this study being done on NFL players and this being the number but I don't remember it being done on PL footballers. If it was it does matter which year it was done and who it was done on. Something like an Allen Iverson case is rare in football. A player who plays 1 season in the PL is not on the same stable ground as someone who has played for 5 seasons you can assume because it's not paid as well. That being said, Icelandic players who have played mostly in the Championship are rich by Icelandic standards in our much more expensive economy climate. The money in football now is absolutely nuts. If you pay your taxes on time and don't gamble it away you are set for life but even though they are set players still seek out some kind of employment which means that all the money thet have earned is still extra on top of their new salary.Good points, but even with the retirement plans, pensions and connections, it's estimated that 40% of professional footballers file for bankruptcy within 5 years of retirement.
This covers lower leagues as well to be fair, but the vast majority of PL players especially those not among the highest wage earners will have money worries after retirement as they navigate a new financial landscape where thier spending habits post career have to drastically change
I doubt she's actually his agent.Wow is his mum really his agent? His mum? A football agent? Mad. Imagine having a family member who wasn't your Dad, or brother or an uncle, or a male cousin, as your agent. Mad. His actual mum. Bet she's moody. And temperamental and unreasonable.
