Didn't he send her off now? Is she still in charge of his affairs? She has hurt him more than helped him but I think really, she's just his mouth piece and he's the one who's hurt himself the most. I think if his ego can be managed by the right environment, he will be an excellent piece of business but I'm not sure United is the right place for that. He needs to be surrounded by complete winners who have succeeded before him, with a position where he will feel he can shine brightest, and even then he might still find something wrong with it if he's not the talk of the town. Obviously, I'm not a fan of how he's conducted himself and I am biased against him but being as objective as I can be with him, I think he's very much a gamble for a club like United to become a positive presence rather than one that's going to complicate things. That being said, I would still give it a shot. He'll cost a lot in salary but without a transfer fee it's worth it as he's young and will be hungry to play again being sidelined from PSG and France.

Yes exactly! Emulate the successful Madrid trio. Pogba as our can-do-it-all midfielder (Modric), Rabiot as our metronomic passer (Kroos). Now we just need to find our Casemiro. Imo, the best place to find such a midfielder is at Atleti - Rodrigo, Koke, Saul, Thomas... Any one of them would work.

Herrera, Fred and McTominay are all combative players; and yet we rarely control games because they lack that bit of elite quality that sides like PSG, Barca and even City have in abundance.
We need technical quality more than we need another combative player. Ideally they'd have both skills mind.
The story of a typical United fan, supposedly not good enough and not worth it for a side battling for a place in top 4, but good enough for the Champions of Europe.

We need more players with technical ability in the squad & Rabiot can cover 3 of our midfield spots whilst improving the base quality of each position.

There aren't too many of them around. Saul Niguez would be the missing link but we get linked to him every summer. Tanguy and Ndidi awesome but very hard to get too. Rabiot would be wonderful but Real Madrid definitely need a player like that on a free considering they will be spending their whole budget on Koulibaly/Hazard/Pogba etc

I've got to say that this guy is talented. Yes, he's got baggage but for free and possibly 200k/ week... the guy would bring some flair and strength in midfield. It's a shame he'll end up at Madrid.
There's been talk about real being after him for a while now. It makes perfect sense, he's French, he's quality, he's free in a season when real need to spend big on restructuring the attack. Real are rumoured to be his favoured destination as well. I don't see us being in with a shout here.

And we all know what kind of personality he has & what it can lead to as we already experienced in 2012. Pogba is a self-centered guy with a huge ego, high self esteem and a sense of self-importance. You can't expect that to change with time and this pog-shit nonsense, winning the world cup etc. can only make the matters worse. So maybe not Yaya Toure and his birthday cake levels (for now at least) but I can guarantee you he'll act like a prima donna when the time comes.

First of all, find me an athlete on who doesn't have a huge ego, by the nature of being a professional players all of them have huge egos, from the Messis to the Eric Choupo-Motings, same with high-self esteem. Listening to some of you talk about him, and what he reads on the press, you have to have those two to just keep going.
As far as him being self-centered, you are simply wrong. I'm not gonna take your word over those of his teammates. Every single player that has played with Pogba loves playing with him, loves his personality, and will call him a generous man.
What I will agree to, is that if United doesn't show an intent to compete and improve, he will not waste the rest of his career here, but neither will any competitive player that is good enough to be wanted by the biggest clubs and to expect otherwise is just naive.

Yeah, Griezmann is supposed to be insufferable on the training ground, always asking more from his teammate but fun out of it, same thing with Mbappé.

When it comes to them having an ego/self-confidence, yes. I just know every professional athlete of any sport needs to have an ego and self-confidence, you're talking about the 1% of athletes. From the NBA, MMA, Soccer, Baseball, whatever sport you want to name. Now, of course once you get to the professional side, your ego may be put in check because you realize that you're not as good as you were at every other level before the big leagues, but absolutely...every single athlete needs to have a massive ego and self-belief, even a guy like Darmian or Valencia are full of ego and confidence. Just because someone appears humble, someone like a Messi for example, don't believe for one second they don't have a massive ego behind it. To do some of the things Messi chooses to do, you have to have that self-belief and confidence that you're better than everyone else, even if he will never say it in public.
His attitude is a concern, but he is exactly what we need, a bit of technical ability, and someone who wants the ball and knows what to do with it.

Sick of people talking about egos, we've had numerous players in the past with ego's which is normal if you are a big club signing the best players. He is exactly what we need, even if it was 50 million we should go for him never mind a free.
