With Rabio going to Juve, I can see Khedira move to a club like Arsenal and link up with Ozil for a reasonable loan+obligation to buy option.

They have to be favourites for the champions league if the also get De Ligt.

There not actually very good. Did you not witness them home and away against us last year?

No way are they favourites.

I honestly thought this guy would have been a good fit for us. Yes, his wages are probably high but no transfer fee, still young (24) but very experienced. It's all very well going for young players who look fast or fresh but people forget that when we "won everything with kids" they weren't all kids

Ya, let's bring in this 24yr old lad who has had numerous issues with authority/management already in his short career. He is ideal to provide experience and a cool head to this side.

did I say "cool head" no. so stop putting words in my mouth. Oh, and a certain Mr Cantona had "management issues" while on trial at Sheffield Wednesday, and to a lesser extent at Leeds...

With his wages? Unlikely.

He is an individualist. As long as he performs very well, it will be okay.

I don't feel that the player himself is a big problem. It seems hit mother takes her role a bit to seriously ands want to control everything a bit to much. If you read some of the things said about Rabiot by his former teammates, they pretty much all said that they did not see any problems with his attitude and that he just want to play.

It's still a pretty young kid with a nice bag of experience. Hell, you can even say it's a good thing he ruined it a bit for himself at the French national team. Means he won't have to play as much games outside of the club which would keep him more fit.

In the worst case scenario, we sign him, it does not work out and we can get a transfer fee for him to cover the expenses made. It seems like a no-brainer to give Rabiot a try as he clearly posseses quality we can use.

He has his medical at Juve today so we can basically close this thread

The attitude stuff is overblown but he is a bit of an individualist and not a great fan of following instructions, his issues with being asked to play in the 6 role for example. Sarri is very much a discipline guy who wants players to play specific roles within his system so that is a relationship that could be fun to watch.

Juve an expert in free transfers.
We should get some idea from the likes of juve and bayern on transfers.
why cant we be like them ?

That's an interesting example since he has played a lot as a 6 and said that while he doesn't like it he will do it for the team.

Crushed.
There goes my hope of seeing this midfield diamond line up for us:

------ Bruno -----
Pogba - Rabiot
----- Partey -----

No way are they favourites.

But you have to take in account With these new additions they are going to become a better side, maybe only Barca will be stronger favourites if they do bring both Neymar and Griezmann to the club

Another funny story when he has just arrived at Turin revealed by RMC. His mom has struck again.:D

I only caught bits, but if I'm not mistaken, she thought that the camera at the airport were from the media so she tried to keep everyone in the airplane until the cameras leave. The only issue is that the cameras were from Juventus, Paratici had to call her.

That's it. She had specifically demanded before Juventus officials that there is no camera at the airport.

Thank god we are avoiding that potential circus around him and his nutty mother, we don't need that at our club right now, imagine if we had signed him and he started producing world class performances on a consistent basis, we wouldn't hear the end of it from his mother making stupid demands towards the club to make him stay, no thank you.

I think a club like Juventus will handle the situation and silence his mother fast enough. They are a strong institution and he will have to change his attitude quickly imo. That's his last chance to prove at the highest level.

Dope. Should have given her a player management role at OT and signed Rabiot. Probably would have belted the Lingz out of Jesse and coddled Pogba into a happy place.
