Lol fack off Cena.

Anyways, in our 5 official games so far, he's gotten appearance in two matches. Gotta say I wasn't expecting that, fair fecks to Moyes.

I got laughed at for saying he'd get 10-15 games this season, I hope I was wrong and he gets even more assuming he carries on with his development and keeps on improving. We won't see him against the big teams anytime soon, but getting sub appearances is good enough for me right now.

Problem was, I was looking at my title, then the reserve title, and I was like "hmm, something's wrong here, but I can't quite see what, so I kept looking, for like ... five fecking minutes.

Ugh,
I just kept calling him whatever spelling came to my mind in the match day thread.

Yaanuyaay, janujag, januzaj were all used.

feck names, Chyna.

Great talent for being 18! Seems to be a better dribbler than both Young and Valencia, and he can pass the ball around as well.

Exciting for the future!

Let's see if it catches on. These lot love a silly nickname.

Who is this Belgian Cruyff our Addy looks like?

I'm interested to see what he can do when the opposition don't give hm the freedom of the entire pitch...though he was very good today. The game ended as any kind of contest when he came on and started actually punishing Palace for leaving so much room.

I like that he seemingly doesn't give a feck who he plays against and just plays his game.

Unfortunately I can see a few opponents trying to give him a good kicking to see how he reacts. Hopefully he does so better than Reyes, and its Janujizz

It was against ten men and think they had slightly lost their organisation but it was still a very encouraging performance with many aspects that weren't dependent on them being a man down but his own intelligence and technique. Its always great when you get a fresh young player as they're generally fully of energy and enthusiasm. Don't see any reason especially with the extra protection that Fellaini gives he couldn't get a start against a better team especially if the wingers don't start doing better.

the great thing about him was that the big players trusted him as a regular outlet, even Rooney. Usually when a youngster comes in new to the first team, the players are more protective and try to bed him in, but with Januzaj they know and trust his quality, and regularly gave him the ball.

I'm not sure he knows any other way than to ask for the ball and be involved in passing it around. Whenever I've seen him before for reserves he's never been one of those players who just waits for the ball to come to him, do something good and then wait again. He's always come towards the ball making sure he got touches

He played a couple of games up front on his own last season and he showed great positional discipline by staying up with the center backs rather than dropping deep, which obviously comes way more natural to him. That balance between making himself available but not overstepping any tactical boundaries is a sign of maturity beyond his years.

VERY exciting debut. Seeing Dæhli look way more tentative against Noggy league opposition, and then Adnan just playing like he didn't have to adjust to the level (despite it being 10-man recently promoted Palace), it makes me wonder just how special Januzaj's talent might be. Hopefully this makes Moyes feel that he can start easing him in.

Really like this kid, he has so much confidence on the ball and always looks to get forward and take on his man. Hope he starts to get more minutes as we look exciting when he is on the pitch.

Very tidy little player. Clearly more suited to the centre but offer more on the left than Young has in his last 25 games.

Wow, what a talent. Very pleased to see him featured today just hope he is involved in most of our games this season and not just tripe like Palace at home.

Obviously some perspective needs to applied given Palace are not very good and were down to 10 men, but dammit was this lad a breath of fresh air to our 1 dimensional wide play when he came on, very exciting prospect.

Needs to bulk up, obviously. A bit more muscle should give him the strength for this league and ideally a bit more acceleration as well. People have compared him to Ozil, Kaka and Berbatov here, and he does have traits of all of them. I see no reason why he can't become a very classy player in the attacking positions. He's creative enough and has terrific belief in his ability.

Apply the same perspective to Anderson and Young's performances who couldn't make an impact at all on the not very good 10 men. Januzaj ahead of Young every time for me.

I think it's fair to say he's one of the top young prospects around the world and he has all the potential in the world. Great dribbler and passer, and such a smart player. Has so much awareness on the ball, and is so confident for such a young kid. Just hope we give him enough chances to show how good he is and he wants to stay here for the long haul.

Funny how right when he came on you could tell he's a more intelligent player then most of our other first team players (especially the wingers).
