30 million for a player who was very underwhelming at a relegated club and has one decent season in his career. No chance mate.
Yeah, unless that 30 million is paid in 30 years there's no chance. Doubt anyone's willing to pay half of that.

I'd gladly take a gamble on him at Swansea, but I'd be weary if the fee was over 10 million considering he could be either great or crap.

Of those clubs Lyon would be the best move.

The won't get a game at Monaco or Roma, they have better players than him. Celtic are beneath him, Sociedad struggled last season, can't see him doing much graft there. At Lyon he's more likely to get a game.

He should go to Celtic if he gets the chance. He'd rip it up in Scotland.

What a disappointment this guy has been. Had all the talent and opportunities to be a top player and he threw it away.

I doubt we'll get more than 10-15m euros for him, I think he's in the last year of his contract.

It's a pity. I wanted Jose to give him and Pereira a chance next season
I'm a fan of his talent, but there was no way he was getting a shot here next season, and I can't blame José. I'm sure Pereira will get his chance as, unlike Adnan, he impressed on his loan.

Only this time last year I was of the opinion that Adnan was a lot bettter than Pereira. How quickly things can change, eh.

if we get 8 million for him, we are doing good. I have a bit of a soft spot for Celtic and I'd be disappointed if they signed him. Terrible attitude, no doubt he has ability but his mindset is way off to be a top player.

Crazy how he went from being a huge prospect for us to becoming a championship level player

Thanks Januzaj for giving me a reason to watch the games when Moyesy was in charge.

He didn't have the mentality to deliver at the top level. No doubt he is talented. Would do well in the La Liga IMO.

This is what separates the Rashfords from the Januzajs I guess.

Oh and if we get 15 MP for him, I would happily pay it for CR's taxes. That would be an absolute steal.

Confidence and terrible career choices can do that to a player.

At 22 he is still young enough to turn it around but he probably should look at what Depay did and go to a "lesser" league and get his mojo back.

He should be used as example to all academy players of the dangers of believing your own hype and taking your foot off the pedal cos you think you've made it.

But he has also been criticized for his attitude and living a flashy lifestyle and was on a relegated team and disliked by their fans.

you do realise he just had the best season of his life. His attitude hasn't been an issue at Celtic. When I question Januzaj attitude,I 'm not referring to his lifestyle, I am referring to his on field application. He wasn't the only player at Villa that season that underperformed and was targetted by the boo boys. Plus he only cost 3 million, we are probably looking at 8 to 10 mill, possibly more for Januzag. Not big numbers to us but to a club like Celtic they are.Plus his wages would be a factor also, I'd assume he'd be in the 40k category. Again not huge numbers to us but Celtic don't get the tv money PL teams get, so that's quite a big wage packet, I'd imagine if he did go that no Celtic player currently gets that high a wage. You seem to rate the lad highly and that is fair enough, I don't and for a club like Celtic, I just don't see him being a good fit.

Yes I know how good he did and that is my point. He went to Celtic having been questioned about his attitude on and off the field. He is a winger who was often criticised for not tracking back and helping out the team. He wasn't the only player at villa like that of course but neither was Adnan at Sunderland. I'm only pointing out the similarities of the two of them because you said you'd disappointed in signing Adnan due to his attitude which Scott Sinclair has had labelled on him too. Adnan is also 6 years younger so of course he'll cost more and he has a much better upside of future value. Frankly the Scottish league is shite so I'd see him being one of their best players.

what about his wages

"All the talent in the world" just isn't true though, and that's where so much disappointment comes from; fans hyping him up to be something he never was. He looked decent, potentially good enough to become a first team regular, but he never, ever, looked like being anywhere near as talented as players like Dembele or Mbappe, players you'd describe as having all the talent in the world.
You know what we're like! Would hype up a wet napkin as long as it was found in the academy.

Yea thinking someone is good enough for the Scottish league is a real hard on. I can't believe a middle aged man can follow every thread on this kid and complain about him so much.

I am glad most people don't brand you losers by 22 years old.

I suppose you guys still think Ravel Morrison still has a future in top level football.

fecks sake, Adnan earns more in a week for being completely useless than you guys earn in a year for doing a reasonable job, or you'll get fired, and you still love him.

All the opportunity he has had, what a complete waste. He's a disgrace.

Why do some fans feel anger towards him? I've seen a few almost rubbing their hands as well.

A teenager gets massively overpaid, told how brilliant to is, treated like a special kind of human being and shock horror he makes some bad decisions.

I think it's a shame he hasn't made the most of his talent but it's hardly surprising. Had I received the same treatment as a teenager there's no way I could guarantee I'd remain level headed and dedicated.

Plus you know he's not harming anybody but himself. So all this "disgrace" talk seems a bit over the top.

He's not a disgrace, but I certainly have no sympathy for him. When you earn money like that for being a relative nobody in the football world, it's hard enough eliciting sympathy out of the common man, never mind for a spoilt brat with an "entourage" funneling you into bad decisions despite warnings.

My impression of Adnan is that he has skill but lacks heart or will.

We were promised big things from Adnan and got next to nothing. It's sad to see good talent going to waste but I won't shed a tear to see him or his entourage go.
