Can Manchester United score?....They always score...

Milan haven't held many clean sheets this season and our attack has been unparalleled. We'll score, and when we do it's game on. The key is when we score...hopefully it will be with enough time to take advantage of the momentum. Not to mention the fact that our defense has to get their shit together.

Smith could yet be the player who can make a difference.

At the very least, he would really take it to them.

Saha is a confidence player, so I worry this is almost the worst time to throw him on.
 
to be honest....at the start of the season...I never thought we would be in the semis....so it is a bonus in a perverse sort of way. If we score in the first 20 mins....o'shea to do it...then I think we will have a chance..
 
VDS apart everyone can play much better. Will they? Dunno.

at least get an early goal to make them think about it!

Shambolic first half. Poor passes, decisions, defending and no attacking threat at all, although AC Milan have been outstanding we've offered no resistance.

Switching to 4-4-2 and just going for it might work. Letting in another goal won't make much of an impact, we've still got to score 2 to stay in the Champions League.
 
Who should we replace if we put Smith on? He's probably one of our least skilled players - all he has is his attitude.

Give this team another 30 mins, and then bring Smith and/or Saha on if we're still not able to break them down.

I can't remember seeing so may bad passes.

Also, every bit of posession seems to go through Heinze. No dissrespect to him, but surely we have more capable players to bring the ball forward.

The only reason why he has been getting the ball so much is Ronaldo is lined up on his side of the field.

We are looking so one dimensional at the minute.
 
you know...I really don't mind losing as long as we really make a fight of it...that is what fergie said...."we'll have a really good go". As yet that hasn't happened and I feel that this is what he will say to them...

We must fight...we need to this saturday when city will want us to fail big time.

i'm sorry guys but you over-rate Fletcher sooo muchh...he is average, at best
 
Attitude looks better, at least we're starting to press them, shame we had to wait to be 2 down before waking up.
