It just highlights the importance of big players stepping up on big occasions and sadly, none of our players did that... Also, we clearly lack a leader like Keano and from the first whistle, the players were playing with trepidation... Hopeless gutless performance, but then again, lets not let this defeat ruin what could be still a great season for us..

Rubbish. You will never think that a Ref got everything right but tonight nothing the ref did or didn't do made the difference. We didn't deserve to win.
No need to get nasty.We were beaten fair and square.It goes on to show that in Europe you don't need good passers just players who are defensively solid and adept at disrupting the flow of football.

the problem we had tonight was the players seemed disinterrested.
I honestly don't know where giggs thought he was playing he wouldnt have scored with rooney's granny lady friend.
There was no urgency and no leadership on the field tonight.
We needed someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck and say we are not going down without a fight and that has been the most disappointing thing about the game.
Thats the last few games we have played that we did not look like scoring. The everton game we were blessed but we were never gonna get that sort of chance against Milan.
All the players need to take a very close look at themselves and realise that they have to earn the right to play for United and not just bloody show up (although I do question if the real players actually showed up or were they imposters).
Right now we have to stop Chelski winning anything but the CC.

terrible performance, could be a result of so many must win games coming so soon after each other + with the injuries to our defenders and also with some very great performances by some of the Milan players especially Kaka, Gatusso, and Seadorf, come on Milan in the Final. Anyone but Liverpool. Lets wrap up the league with a win at City and hopefully beat CSKA London in FA cup Final. I would have settled for the League at the start of the season. Forget Hargreaves, buy Kaka.

And I wasnt. They did not play with there heart because there heart was in there throat. They were so scared. Rooney and Ronaldo were scared to death. Vidic was breathless and so were many more players. In fact I cant name any Man Utd player who deserve a positive rating from this match. Well maybe Rio, Park, Evra and Gaz but only because they did not turn up in this game. Also after this match there is no secret of wh will win it the prize of the best europian player of the year. Clearly it will be Kaka'. Great player who is a great leader for his team. However he was not the best player on the night. For me the diference was Gattuso. God, how I love this player. Such an energy, suck a great motivator, like he have an engine that is stationated in his butt Smile. Congratulations to Milan who were without doubt the better team in this two games and I really hope that they will take the CL trophy. As for Fergie I do agree with him that FA must have helped Man Utd with there fixtures because unlike some teams they did not have opportunity to rest there best players. Ronaldo and Rooney have so much more games then Kaka and Seedorf in this season and in the end it is so noticible
