Whom? Apart from Donnaruma, it seems like a collection of overpriced dross.
Conti could turn into a solid RWB, he has already shown what he can do last year with Atalanta and the signs are promising. Shame his season was cut short by a horrific injury this year. Cutrone has had a very good start to the season and he will be a name to remember if he keeps up his form throughout the season. Bonucci is Bonucci, enough said. Suso would probably offer more to our attacking play than any of our current options. We are desperately lacking a creative outlet like him.

Don't mind their big spending. They are a proper club, rich of history.

I too admire AC Milan as they are a historic club. However I

I too admire AC Milan as they are a historic club. Although I hope you recognize the parallels with them and city/chelsea

Nah, they have a few gems who would shine in a stable environment. Bonucci, Cutrone, Romagnoli, André Silva, Suso, Kessie, Conti etc.

Montella has been sacked and replaced with Gattuso.

Can't believe they have gone for yet another old boy appointment. Ridiculously insular and backward looking club.

He is just keeping the seat warm for Ancelotti for the summer. Ancelotti had already said he would start a new job in summer and this could be a good deal for both clubs.

What do you guys think about their Romagnoli and Rugani ? Who's better ? Are they on the same tier (of young CBs) with the likes of Sule, Bailly, Christensen ?

Romagnoli is better and yes, definitely on the same level as those 3. I'd argue he's the best of the bunch

Deserved sacking but the current replacements is even worse except for the spirit he'll bring.

Their season is pretty much fecked anyway. They won't even get a Europe League qualification spot.

And so their future is bleak. They have to qualify to the Champions League to refund the money to the Elliot Fund.

If true, Milinkovic-Savic on 30k ish a week?! Surely he'll be on more come summer either at Lazio or elsewhere. Suspect some of those players from Napoli will move on in summer too if they win the League.
These salaries are after tax apparently - so he's getting around 60-65k a week

A lot of false hope in the summer has been shattered.

Pity. I hoped this was the re-rise of Milan.

I think any club that regressed in the money era of football will never get back to the top. Liverpool is a fine example.

Salaries reported in Italy are usually after tax figures

Gattuso not going to last past xmas is he, already calling out his players.

Tim Sherwood would probably be more use as manager.

I admit i was fooled by their summer signings. Just quantity, not quality.

To me it's more mentality.

We saw it with their neighbours last season. Inter had pretty much similar squad first 11 to what they were putting out last year and Icardi was still scoring lots of goals but they didn't have the killer instinct. They beat Juventus 2-1 early last season (under De Boer) and then lost their next 3 which got FDB the sack. Pioli was also level below what they needed.

They get a great coach in like Spaletti from Roma and they win most weeks now.

Milan needs a top class european coach. Still think Ancelotti will pitch up there in the summer. Pellegrini wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Excuses by Rino -
“I am the one responsible today, as I chose to field this line-up. We are too fragile and we give the sensation that we cannot react to the first sign of difficulty. We have got to improve quickly.
“We must be able to get a result and play good football. There is something good today, as we had a lot of possession, we tried to attack the space and had a lot of corners.

“Errors can happen, but we can’t seem to react or stay focused for 90 minutes.”
Made me chuckle.

City / psg...all it takes is an owner with very deep pockets.

Juve aside as they seem to have good management in place and have money (somehow), one thing that is a barrier is the Italian league just isn't what it was 15-20 years ago and foreign countries are really wanting to watch the PL and La Liga. Going to be very hard for other leagues to break the monopoly and thus attract the investment
