Absolutely but the good news is the Abu mediums are dying. Papers, commentary, post match shows like motd are all diminishing and it's become a tik token social media landscape. Having yound stars like Garnacho and Kobbie and the social media influences of people like Speed means the abus can't really hurt us.It’s a real issue for us though, makes it more uphill to get straight treatment in marginal decisions whether it’s player suspensions, injury time etc. Also makes it harder to build a new fan base. Ultimately football is becoming a bit of a consumer product and our potential future consumers keep getting a negative impression of us while hearing how wonderful City, Liverpool etc. are. I think there’s a marketing challenge in this for us that we shouldn’t ignore.
Shearer on Newcastle a few weeks agoIt was funny watching Shearer processing Newcastle getting dumped out of all European comps whilst asking more bitter questions.
He's also a Coventry fan so his opinions are no worse that most of the CAF's views when VAR goes against usThat goal was correctly ruled out, the penalty Coventry got was debatable but rarely mentioned. Key's remains among the biggest idiots and should know his place as presenter than trying to play the punter.
The non-ex Liverpool is the worst, Craig Burley is twice the cnut that Nicol is by a country mileCheck out the ESPN lot. Nicol and some Liverpool player. Their bile is non stop and now it is not even funny.

At it again. Laying into united for signing de ligt and mazraoui and then slagging off both of them. All of them bar frank lebeouf. By the way this Gab marcotti is the same person who praises Chelsea’s transfer policy, says “there’s a method to this madness. What’s the method? We don’t know yet”
It's huge. Burley and Steve Nicol have been Souness like for years.I haven’t noticed any anti United sentiment with them

Don’t take my word, just go there unbiased and see for yourself. Even rival fans have started pointed out to them in their extra time show to the point where they themselves are low key admitting and making fun of their own pundits.I haven’t noticed any anti United sentiment with them but then I don’t ever click on their United related videos, so I wouldn’t know tbf.
I wouldn't have expected Burley to be negative towards Chelsea given his past.Them two in particular are also the biggest Chelsea naysayers on ESPN, so maybe being negative is just their thing
Yes, Gab is a season ticket holder. You must not know about his podcast then because he would defend almost everything related to Chelsea. He would laugh at the madness then he gives his own logic to defend the madness. That’s his MO.I’m pretty sure Gab is a season ticket holder at Chelsea, but even then I don’t find him to be particularly soft or biased towards Chelsea. The rest of ESPN crew definitely aren’t. I can’t even remember the last time I clicked one of their Chelsea segments and they weren’t being overly negative. So yeah.
Burley doesn’t discriminate. The man is grumpy and a born hater so he hates everyone even Chelsea. Kind of appreciate thatI wouldn't have expected Burley to be negative towards Chelsea given his past.
Good to know. Perhaps I'll feel less irritated by him now when I next hear him talk shite about us.Burley doesn’t discriminate. The man is grumpy and a born hater so he hates everyone even Chelsea. Kind of appreciate that
Burley hates United for sure. He's tiresome.Good to know. Perhaps I'll feel less irritated by him now when I next hear him talk shite about us.
Imagine opening your dirty mouth and saying Spurs are a more attractive club.

Yeah we're in the mud but we're still a much bigger club than fecking Spurs. It's Keys though, second only to Souness when it comes to despising United.
Not sure. He is a Coventry fan, so not sure why he would be jealous of United. Maybe he had a run in with SAF at some point.I'm too young to remember but I wonder if Keys emphatic ABU-ness came to the fore when he was running the show on Sky or did he have to grin and bear it when United were winning everything in sight? It's rare for a host to get away with being so biased even if the pundits can happily do whatever.
probably still annoyed about the semi final defeat, plus he wanted City to win the FA Cup finalNot sure. He is a Coventry fan, so not sure why he would be jealous of United. Maybe he had a run in with SAF at some point.
This has been going on longer than last season.probably still annoyed about the semi final defeat, plus he wanted City to win the FA Cup final

I imagine most commentators and pundits had a run in with Sir Alex at some time. Not sure. He is a Coventry fan, so not sure why he would be jealous of United. Maybe he had a run in with SAF at some point.
