Apparently he’s very quiet on and off the field but Baresi was like that and led by an example whilst being an absolute colossus. I’m in no way comparing him to Baresi by the way but if he can become a consummate professional one day, on and off the field — that’ll help us tremendously.
He's a quiet guy by all accounts so he's unlikley to be a vocal on-pitch presence. Though it would be unfair to expect a 21 year old kid to land at United and immediately be a leader anyway. Patience will be needed.

Yeah. Under Fergie it was often nr 2 right back, 3 left back, 5 cb, 8 midfielder, 9/10 strikers. Since he quit you have 31 Matic, nr 2 for a cb, 23 for our left back, nr 3 for a cb and the list goes on.. Fellaini 31 and 27, Darmian 36 when he joined..

Zaha though is interested in the move to Arsenal so, what Palace have tried to do is get United to write off the Zaha clause within the Wan-Bissaka deal, so that they could then reduce the Zaha asking price to £50m to suit Arsenal.
United refusing to budge on this clause has really pissed on Arsenal's chips..!!

Absolutely delighted with this! I said in an earlier post that Aaron could very well be the next Rio and I think the lad will develop very well with a decent man, not just a decent manager, in Ole along with staff such as Mike Phelan.

Very good signing for you. The price is high but that comes with buying young English talent nowadays. If he stays for the better part of a decade then it's well worth it.

Announce AWB - Super signing, been a while since we had a right back. A lot of fans criticise Shaw but last year the games he didn't play we struggled.

We need good scoring wingers so we don't go into the season relying on iwobi and hoping Nelsson has a breakthrough. Easing the load we put on Auba & Laca is also needed, they might not get us out of trouble forever. So if we do get Tierney and Saliba (without loaning him back) i don't see how we'd have anywhere near enough to get Zaha. Is Maitland-Niles the in-house Ramsey replacement ? So many questions, i love (hate) summer windows.
