Doubt you can coach those things at 21 anymore to improve much. Especially when he is 21 and even any of us could do as well as he does in a EPL games. That's how low level he is with those. You'd think as a 21 year old who's good at one thing you'd want to improve other aspects of your game but this kid doesn't know how to control and run with the fecking football. What are we coaching in him?

I don't think people on here are upset he doesn't have Trent's offensive output. People are perplexed at how uncomfortable he is with the ball at his feet. His attacking play has clearly improved this season. Yes, today wasn’t good but Jesus fecking Christ. Chill out
I don't remember any 'great' crosses from him this match. All I remember is he could not get space or time to do anything on the ball.He had done great crosses into the box in the first half but surprise surprise no one on the box to get in the end of that. Second half we didn't attack much to be fair.
Thats why he looked "world class" at Palace, because they hardly had the ball so most of the game they were defending.I give him credit to his one on one defending. For the rest, it is like he is a mix of Smalling and Valencia. He just needs to kick the ball into shins more often.

I think he could be a good signing here and he's done ok/well enough this season but there are genuinely a few concerns that have been evident all season. You'd have to be blind not to see them and only focus on the good points.
He's an outstanding 1v1 defender. His passing, touch and attacking play are erratic though. He's still really young and can go up a few levels but I don't know, his technique worries me a bit for a 50 million full back. Our eventual aim is to be back winning premier league titles and competing for Champions leagues again. Our full backs definitely have to step up their attacking contribution and overall play a bit more.
That's patently untrue. The highlighted part is so inaccurate as to be laughable.Brandon Williams is a RB playing as a LB and definitely the best full back that we have and if Wan Bissaka doesnt cut it which is looking more likely by the day we do already have a player to replace him. We need to buy a LB though.

And we paid £75 million for him, worst transfer in our club's history. Can't believe we signed 25 year old RB who can't control football and worst player to ever play for us.
Hes 22. The chronic need on here to ignore players actual age to add on like this is ridiculous. He just turned 22 a few months ago! He's not 21. He's actually 23 this year. I sincerely doubt he's going to improve that much a thing like technique or intelligence on the ball. You either got it by that age or you don't. He's so far off pace in that regard that I think it's doomed.
We had a very good example in Valencia, a player that we hoped for years will improve his technique, never happened.
The same will happen to AWB. He is already 23, I feel is a bit too late for him to.improve his offensive play.
