What is really an eye opener is that we have scored more goals than them. Which is amazing given we had mourinho for half the season.
Nope they are swashbuckling elite side with the world's best striker and amc. They play great attacking football and blow teams away. As Arry says, why would Poch go United as we are miles off...

Even if they finish outside the top 4, they spent most of the season third and close to the top 2, that goes down as another successful season for Poch and Spurs. It's success after success for Poch.
I don't understand all this negativity for him all of a sudden. He's clearly doing a great job and would have been an excellent appointment for us. We got lucky that Ole is kinda working, that doesn't negate Poch's accomplishments.
I don't get the positivity for this manager - he's losing one in three. And the lack of draws they have had this season has been beyond lucky.

Not that it would have made any difference, but it certainly made giving Ole the job easier when Madrid decided they didn't want Poch. He's nice and gettable, and where we can keep a close eye on him still.

It is reaction to media/fans treating him as some sort of management mastermind and a big achiever when he has hardly achieved anything. He made his team play half heartedly in cup games, with an eye on being in the titles challenge in PL and then the team goes from 2 or 3 pts behind City to 16 pts.
If fans/media treated him like yet another top 4 achievable manager, then I guess the reaction would also have been pretty mild.
You must be one of those fans that only look at results and don’t watch the actually games. Pochettino once again showed brilliant game management and his team should have won if they did not shoot themselves in the foot.
Unfortunately for Pochettino, he has not mastered the art of being lucky. This was one of the best performance an away team put on at Anfield this season and everyone that watched the game would say Liverpool did not deserve the full three points.
In regards to their league position, as I stated before, they are overachieving with the quality at their disposal. They should not be in the top four with the players they have. Most fans seem to overhype their players, but reality is their team is not that good compared to their rivalry who has outspent Spurs in nearly every position on the field and have more resources to utilize if their first eleven underperform. That Sissoko miss speaks to my point and that lloris blunder today.
Not for the first time this season Poch got his tactics against Liverpool completely wrong from the start and was left always chasing the game and it's not like Klopp is a tactical genius either

I dont think he has the pedigree yet for those positions, needs to win something with Spurs. Has done well with the dross he has at Spurs, Aurier, Sissoko, Dier, Lamela. That and at some points he had to use some academy players to make up numbers due to zero investment and injuries. Which is fine for a mid table team, not for a team looking for top 4.
Perhaps a sabbatical until one of those positions opens up?

I do agree media overrates him but seriously what he has done this season is really good. They spent absolutely nothing and yet here they are. This fall was bound to happen. Klopp spent around £150 million and is reaping the reward, had pochetino been given similar backing he would also be doing what klopp is doing. It's funny when jose and pep are termed chequebook manager but klopp doesn't.

Indeed, his hands have been tied the previous two seasons imo. All his competitiors improve and buy in players, Tottenham stand still.
I'd be deeply frustrated if I was Pochettino, building a very good team, getting so close and then getting dropped by the Club completely. I understand the reasons why, but the club are a joke. Get so close to success, of which they've not seen for decades and then drop all financial backing to the Manager.
