99 Champions League Final, Last 3 minutes - unaired footage

That was a long long time ago. I'd just love us to win another one, and eventually beat Liverpools European record.
I'd love it too. Shame it won't be this season - even beating the worst opponents through to the last 16, Olympiakos is a struggle. We're not even good enough to fluke our way to the CL. We don't have the defensive qualities, the determination and grit that Chelsea side had nor do we have a manager like FSW to fluke our way to the CL.

Wasn't it Di Matteo that won the champions league with Chelski? I can't remember for the life of me.

Yes, I was referring to the other disastrous fluke that occurred in Istanbul our scouse cousins love to tell us about.

Shh, I hear them coming....
They're too busy celebrating their title challenge. Now they're actually good, they don't have to look back on the past as much as they did before :(

I remember that night as if it were yesterday. Walking up Wembley Way towards that huge white edifice was incredible. The noise inside was deafening and when the teams walked out, I was stuck with how bright the blue shirts looked under the floodlights. Something I'll never forget.

Nicky Butt is one of the most underrated players in Utd history?
Perhaps alongside Darren Fletcher

Poor Blomqvist. Everyone else seems to range from legend, great player, cult hero and then there's Jesper.

Don't worry, Jesper. I remember you used to run while holding your shirt cuffs. I thought it was cool when I was 11 and copied you.

Edit: Why is cu lt censored?

feck City’s cheat treble. Be a great day for football if they get caught and we can all forget that ever happened.
Their cheating is incredibly disrespectful to one of the greatest moments in football history.

My Dad had had an operation for stomach cancer just a few days before and I was pretty down about it. He was still in hospital recovering and my Mum was with him and they watched the game on the telly. I was at a friend's house watching it with a bunch of mates. After it finished I was on the phone to my dad and I don't remember exactly what he said but clearly he was very happy and I could my mum saying 'great! great!' in the background. I sort of realised then that whilst this sort of thing was possible and we were all very happy in that moment, it was a bit silly to be down and depressed all the time.

My Dad died a couple of years later once the cancer recurred but I always treasure that moment as a 'don't ever let things get on top of you and never never give up' reminder.

The Treble will never be won in those circumstances again, and hasn't since. Loved watching 1999 recently. I still am of the opinion that Fergie screwed up big time in the final, but if he hadn't screwed up so badly, that ending would not have happened.

No wonder they invented HD! and I think some of that footage is in the Fergie documentary (the one made by Jason Ferguson)
