1. Ten Hag - Getting one of the most promising managers in football, who has a clear identity on how his teams should play football and who has prior experience of rebuilding a team and improving players.
2. Some toxic players have left. I won't name names, but it obvious some who left loved their "brand" more than the club.
3. Expectations are low. After Ole got second, we were expected last season with the players we bought to win or at least challenge until the end for the title. Now, Ten Hag has some time and lower expectations so the pressure is off compared to last season.
4. Potential new signings. FDJ is a massive start and it seems like it will happen. He can improve our midfield and everyone who joins after him is just icing on the cake.
5. Youth being given a chance. We are well known for giving youth an opportunity every season, but it is usually only one player per season (Elanga) for example. I think with Ten Hag he likes to give youth a chance and an extended opportunity to play, for example with De Ligt, Timber and FDJ. I would like to see Garner, Hannibal and Garnacho being given more opportunities to play than just 10mins here or there.
