Film 28 Years Later

Feck me the first shot in the trailer looks grim. How did they manage to make the world look so bleak like that?

Will watch the original tonight. Never really cared much for the sequel though.

I think you can film pretty much anywhere in the UK and you'll find the same beaten down look.

I do like how it looks like a mash-up of Threads, The Wicker Man and Night of the Living Dead.

That’s one of the best movie trailers I’ve seen in a while. I’m curious to see how the lore and worldbuilding works within this series after such a long time lapse since the last movie and how the Rage Virus still goes on.

One of the posters suggests it has evolved and the trailer shows certain infected humans seemingly grown 7ft tall. My guess is the infected have gained some form of intelligence to work together, and gone from uncoordinated and feral to barbaric and tribal

That Bonehenge looks metal as hell too.

I don't think thats a infected/Zombie Cillian Murphy in the trailer. My feeling is he's even the infected big chap we see sparingly in the trailer or he'll possibly be a character that has a prominent role in the last 3rd of the film. Having watched the original last night, there's still a bit of ambiguity surrounding his character. We know he was in a accident but it sounded quite minor in comparison to the work being done on him when we first see him on the hospital bed.

I'm thinking it would be a massive oversight to put CM in the trailer. While it's possible, it's more likely it's just a lookalike.

He recovered from the accident. The last thing we saw of him was when he was looking up, smiling at the jet they were trying to get the attention of

Talking about the beginning of the film.

How’s that relevant considering he looked to have recovered by the end of it?
Ah. Sorry. Been a long time since I saw it ha. I thought you were talking about when

The car crashed into the gate at the end after he'd been shot.

What a trailer that is.

Going to rewatch the first 2 soon I think. Haven’t seen them in a long time. First one is a masterpiece.

Revelations 1:7 “BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Don't you find the beginning of his situation abit ambiguous?

I suppose it is but I have always assumed it was part of the story telling, it was a construct to explain to the audience why this person has no idea what the hell has happened.

What do you mean? He was on his bike as a courier and got in an accident that KO'd him. The initial outbreak happened whilst he was out cold.
