Film 28 Years Later

I’m looking forward to Boyle’s film and I’m hesitant on a trilogy, especially when they’re supposedly in talks with the person responsible for that The Marvels bomb :nervous:

What kind of mileage can you get out of this IP without turning it into some cliche horror gore fest and retreading ground from the first movie?

I may or may not have taken it at face value thinking Boyle held an iPhone in his hand the whole time.
I know nothing about film equipment but even with all the other attachments it should look a bit different compared to a traditional film.

I guess I wouldn’t be against the idea of it looking like it’s all filmed on an iPhone. I’m pretty sure the original is supposed to look like early 2000’s CCTV footage.

Looks more fantastical than the other two.

Yeah looks good. I think they might be going down the TLoU route of overpowered infected though. There's one second where the guy is running through what looks like a sewer and behind him the infected is fecking huge.

On that silhouette scene with the tree you see about 10 people running down and one to the right a good few feet taller just stood there.

Next, camera is looking at the ground and it's quite hidden but looks like a massive body in the dirt like a blob.

Also far shot of a hill with something huge stood on it waving arms.

Then in the bit in the dark tunnel with the swat team they turn around and you get a glimpse of what they see and again it looks huge. Then matey back onto the wall and he's like looking up.

Have some of the evolved into mad boss characters maybe? Don't think they really needed it.

@1.47. Well damn. Cillian Murphy lost loads of weight to this. Shame they'd showed his transformation in the trailer.

Looks like there's some kind of huge super Zombie in this.

28 years doesn't seem long enough for us to have gone so mental we build bonehenges but I like the aesthetic so I'm here for it.

Really ? people will lose their minds within a month.
The first film is illustrative of that. When society breaks down , law and order dissipates, with humanity fighting for survival, then what do we really have ?

Lose their minds, sure. Lose their minds to the extent they clean and strap thousands of human bones together to make a bonehenge? I'm not so sure.

I've got faith in Danny Boyle and this looks pretty decent. I can't wait for everyone to hate it when it comes out.
