2024 U.S. Elections | Trump wins

No need to make fun of his voice, when you can make fun of his insane views on vaccines and medicines.

Guy is off his rocker, and yet we are supposed to pretend he is a serious candidate.

Social media promotes tribalism, with algorithms sorting you into a bubble of people who are already like you. This leads to political polarisation (a bad thing). So, unlike the plebs who use social media, I'm Seeking Out Intelligent Voices in the media who Challenge My Ideological Perspective and Broaden My Horizons. Making everyone realise that we all share the same interests, and are tragically being divided by labels and politics (always dirty).

I present to you:

A Democrat’s case for DeSantis

DeSantis passes the litmus test. He’s very competent. A Yale- and Harvard-educated lawyer, DeSantis served in the Navy (including on a tour in Iraq) before entering Congress and then becoming Florida’s governor. And he’s effectively achieved his objectives in Florida — regarding both politics and policy.

DeSantis’ competence matters. Why? Because the most important quality to have in a U.S. president is competence. The biggest questions facing the country do not fall comfortably along some left-right axis but instead require prudent and empirically effective leadership to address. How should we approach our global rivalry with China? How should we regulate artificial intelligence?

Yeah, like destroying jobs to win culture wars and such, his fight with Disney sure is going well, true sign of competency.

Florida isn't the US btw, they love culture wars there, but the country at large doesn't.

Try better next time, thanks.

DeSantis - the man who has used his political power to persecute his States biggest employer because they disagree with him, a man who refused to sanction funding for flood defenses in counties that didn't vote for him, yeah that bodes well for the future

You can bet that Disney will back anyone that takes DeSantis on, and they have a lot of money

I clicked on that... 2 clicks later and I ended up with this video...

So this Keneddy guy is a “democratic” challenger spreading weird conspiracies about vaccines causing autism, Wi-Fi melting brains, the water making kids trans, and the CIA might want to kill him (because of what?)... And he expects a high profile scientist to debate him over vaccines (and Musk backs him on this)?

This is a bit sad, though.

Are real issues, like maybe Gun safety, the inflation, jobs, taxes, education, elderly care... Or any of the 1000s things that people probably care about being discussed at all?

Its unfair to Williamson btw, at least she is talking real policy, some of which i agree with, thats a stark difference from RFK Jr, who is just out talking about covid and AIDS not being real, US made Russia invade Ukraine and stuff, all nonsense.

He's a spoiler candidate, nothing more. He's hanging around with the likes of Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, Flynn & Roger Stone, he's basically the next Tulsi Gabbard
