Wow Ganna.
You have such an amazing batch of young athletes coming through, both in athletics as in triathlon.
Really rooting for Ingebrigtsen on Thursday and Saturday. Sky is the limit for him.
Yep.It's the Danish guy his fault isn't it?
Can't seem to find it, what channel is it on?Climbing starts now. First time ever in the olympics. Speed, then bouldering, then lead. If you’ve never watched before, check it out. They’re remarkable athletes.
Wow GannaWow Ganna.
What happens now? Nobody finishes.
Technically the race is over when one team catches the other - just needs to be within one meter. You could argue the race was over before the crash happened.
That's what BBC are predicting will happen from what I just read.
Dane technically caught him, just in a reckless manner.

Then you could still get disqualified for cycling in to another rider I would say?
Maybe. Not according to the UCI though. Denmark is through.
Allright. They deserved to go through so it's understandable. Maybe the Dane will get a fine or something.
That would be a fair solution all-around.
Also, there are so many parallels to the Euro's semi-final here. We barely have to touch the Brit's before they fall on the floor in an attempt to get to the final - didn't succeed this time though
There was a show on the BBC a month or so ago about Helen Glover, British rower (probably still on the BBC IPlayer). They’re doing a highlight on Olympic moms on NBC’s coverage in the US.
I am absolutely in awe of the athletes who come back from pregnancy and make the freakin Olympics. Unreal dedication to the sport there.
Wow, some people are just amazing, super determination and dedication. There was a show on the BBC a month or so ago about Helen Glover, British rower (probably still on the BBC IPlayer).
She won a rowing gold in 2012 and 2016 (as well as a shedload of other titles) then retired.
Had a baby in 2018 and twins in 2020. Then decided to try and come back but due to COVID/lockdown, trained by herself, no coaches.
Her and her husband videoed her progress through 2020 and 2021 on hand held cameras - a mix of mental training (rowers really work?!) and helping bring up a 2/3 year old and baby twins. There was one point when one was teething and she slept on the bedroom floor so she could rub it’s back, then got up at Silly o’clock to go rowing.
Selected for GB rowing team, came back at the 2021 Euros (won it), then made the Olympic final, came fourth… at 35.
Her rowing partners story was pretty cool too… took a break from rowing in 2020 to go back to work as a doctor at a hospital and help out because of COVID.
He won silver, no?Great to see a German win on the parallel bars. 15,7 points, incredible! If he didn’t do something Special here Germany would have had no medal at gymnastics since Sydney 21 years ago. It’s one of the most underfunded sports here, which is why I highly rate someone winning silverware in this environment.
First time watching climbing as a competitive sport. The french dudes are ridiculous!Nice to see a South African in the climbing event. But man, those France brothers are crazy fast.
Anyone from the UK know where I can watch the climbing?
He won silver, no?
insane balance, its quite incredible what they manage on such a small widthHow did she not fall there
Should be behind Biles. Great olympics for her anyways, possible heir to Biles? Suni Lee
Same here, enjoying it tons.First time watching climbing as a competitive sport. The french dudes are ridiculous!
