also remember they were raising a giant cross and gallows for pence at the capitol insurrection, i'm betting this is the mainstream opinion/belief of a lot of Trump-Conservatives, especially in the online spheres.

A fascist take over of the state, backed by christian doctrine, under the guise of stopping "communists and socialists" rigging elections.

Fascism has always existed in this country in some form since the 30s, but it had been more secular & less caustic.

This current iteration of fashy definitely embraces the Lewis / Long definition of such.

1/6 could very well have been our Kristallnacht. Frightening to think what it might actually be.

This quote by the active US Army Reserve member got a chuckle out of me...

Lots of folks overseas would be having the “you don’t say!” Nicholas Cage meme face of theyd heard him say that.

This smacks of someone who consciously chose the military after high school, but denigrates those who need social safety nets in their lives.

we are fecked and we mostly deserve it. This country is half made up of racist, evil people who care for nothing but their own perceived power and non existent prosperity. As long as there is a Republican Party (as it currently exists) in this country it is not something worth saving.

Yep, she had no idea the cop was there with his gun drawn. Sure she didn’t.

Bailey has his gun drawn for at least 45 seconds before she decided to climb through the window. He was clearly visible through a virtually completely windowed wall. There were also multiple screams about his gun being drawn 20 seconds before she climbed into the aperture from rioters no more than 20 feet away from the idiot.

At least they finally admit she was verbally told not to climb through the opening.

Hilarious to think that wasn’t a justified shooting.
