I don't know why I do it to myself. I check out some right-leaning forums (nowhere near the worst) and still see some of the most ridiculous comments. All they are doing whataboutery and trying to say what happened yesterday was not as bad as what happened by BLM burning cities or "protestors invading the capitol to disrupt the Kavanaugh hearings".

The dominant narrative I'm seeing by right wingers on another forum is that BLM/Antifa did the same but weren't punished, but now that freedom loving patriots wanted to ensure a free and fair elections - by way of checking dominion machines - they are now being persecuted.
I am shocked. Everyone knew what was going on happen. The fact that The Capitol Buildings are under Federal Law enforcement also made a huge difference.
DC Police couldn't do anything before it was requested by The Capitol Police. The Speaker has called for the resignation of the Chief of the Capitol Police. The Sergeant at Arms has resigned. I am sure that with both Houses under Democrats there would be an investigation.
Furthermore the information on the leading the invasion of the buildings are already on the internet. They are all far right and notorious.

I felt bad when I read the person shot was 16, but it turns out she's an air force vet, I feel nothing now. Theoretically, she was unarmed, so she probably shouldn't have been shot.
Did you watch the video I posted? She was climbing through a broken window and over a barricade towards a man with a gun pointed at her - he was the last line of defense between the mob and the house chamber.
She was part of an armed mob, so whether or not she had a weapon is irrelevant.
I'm not gonna shed a tear but I do think it's sad she lost her life in such a stupid way.
I think a lot of people are being weird about it though. If you think the security had no choice but to shoot her, then whatever, I've not watched the video but I find it pretty believable, from what I've heard. The people finding it funny and talking about Darwin don't seem to realise how right wing they sound, though.

The average age in that forum is probably 12 or so. They are all ‘oh we are gonna hang the traitors bllah bllah bllah’ and don’t know anything (for example, yday there was a thread on Trump should fire Pence - which obviously he cannot do, but it took them hundreds of replies for someone to post that he cannot do it).
AskAConservative or AskConservatives in Reddit is probably a better representative of GOP voters. Sadly, many are still extremely pro-Trump.
