There are few certainties in life: just death, taxes and the guarantee that if Donald Trump tweets something, it will contradict a previous tweet he posted.

Twitter users were reminded of that on Wednesday while the president’s supporters stormed the grounds of the U.S. Capitol to stop Congress’ certification of the election Trump lost in November.

Might be something to unleash a whole bunch of newly hired DOJ lawyers on in the coming months.
 
Getting Trump in front of a Congressional hearing will be like watching a lion r*** a sheep, and not in a good way.
 
America really is just accelerating down the shitter. It will be really interesting to see what actually happens now, and what sort of rant Trump will come out with once his ban expires.

Hard to say if it will get worse or not if they do invoke the 25th on him. His support may be shrinking, but the true crazies are likely to see it as further stealing against their rightful leader.

I can see him giving a massive blanket pardon to all the "patriots" that stormed the building today.

He would have won in 2016. Running close against Obama is as good as it gets.
 
Graham and many others have been part of the game and stoking the fires the past 4 years, but it's no longer a game when their house was invaded and embarrassed. The problem is that they play too much and don't actually govern enough for their constituents. They pander for votes and appease special interests and large donors. Politicians lose their soul along the way so seeing a few of them like Graham be suddenly righteous and standing up for a legitimate process that predates him for many decades is so hollow, yet necessary.

I just can't believe that they actually do not understand the word and concept of accountability. It's painfully, painfully sad and ridiculous.
 
Hopefully some of those who called the plot against Michigan's government and governor a hoax hopefully realized after today it fits in perfectly well with what happened in DC. Hopefully.
