Take it to a betting thread. It is taking over a serious thread.
Are you serious?

It underpins every single analytical look at this election.

But fine - i'll stop if you cant scroll past it.

Taking over? It's one of the best indicators, been more people complaining about it taking over, then there have been posts about it.

Genuinely surprised anyone did. I don't want Trump to win but I have had no doubt he's staying as President.

Everyone here was giddy on 538 numbers.

Btw polls were correct this time as well.

As long as you actually used the polls that were showing pro Trump results.

It makes no sense that Texas and Ohio are this fecking close and yet Trump is going to win. 2020 continues to defy common sense.

I am serious. When it is the odd post it is ok but when it is half the posts it distracts from a serious thread.

People have misread the Ohio results, Trump is going to win there very comfortably. It merely skewed Biden early because of early votes.

Trump has this won, its staggeringly like 2016 all over again. He might lose PA I imagine given the efforts of Dem campaigning there but that won't amount to much. There's almost no positive signs for Biden in the hard voting data. The minority vote shift to Trump is the death knell to his campaign.

Major rethinking needed at Dem HQ after this. Too much pandering to blue state city dwelling Dems, nowhere near enough thought given to how that plays out in the rest of the country.
I don’t think Biden wins Ohio but he’s doing far better than Clinton and outperforming polling - if that carries over to Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin he wins.

Trump campaign are worried about Georgia according to CNN.

Biden could still win by over 100 EVs

I only just got in and am looking at a CBC (Canada). From numbers they were showing just now, it looked like Michigan and Wisconsin are leaning strongly towards Trump (and maybe Minnesota also? not sure anymore...). Did I misunderstand the graph, is it because pre-voting isn't counted there yet, or you just being wildly optimistic here? I'm trying to get a better grip on this!

How can he still be getting all these votes despite his reaction to Covid. I'm genuinely baffled.

If he wins, and the numbers get ridiculous then what?

It is how the EC works.

This is not surprising.

Let's wait on AZ before giving him the win.

You can get Joe Biden at near 3/1 at some bookies. Very tempting.

No I'm not. When it is the odd post it is ok but when it is half the posts it distracts from a serious thread.

Wibble

@Raoul posted completely meaningless nationwide popular vote polls for months that distracted from any meaningful, serious discussion. Please just chill on this. I don't even see odds being posted

I know how the EC works; my point is that Biden overperforming in those states should point to a good performance nationally. And yet...

Quite odd reactions in here. Are posters posting from the future. Cuz from where I am it's not looking good for the president at the moment based on what's happening so far

If the Dems lose this the entire DNC needs to step down and make way for a new generation. Then it’s decision time. Go far left with AOC or centrist with Tulsi and Yang. I prefer option 2 but they have the talent to rebuild.

Genuinely fascinating now.

Could not call how this looks come the morning, but it looks ALOT better for Trump than most (including me) thought possible.
