Thankfully this fecker resigned from the canvassing board. He should resign as a judge as well for so egregiously violating his tenents.
It was breathtaking in some parts.
I like the two of them, Ossoff being their spawn is a good shout.Ossoff looks like the lovechild of Pete and Beto, and sounds like it as well.

The other option was Jared Kushner and Anthony Weiner. Fortunately, good taste prevailed in the end.
Also, the kid knows how to bring the heat.

This guy sounds like he could have a good future once he's been elected.
I think Nevada is fine, still a few days to get Clark firewall up to 90k, and theoretically you only need 70k anyhow (Clinton won by 25k even with the red wave)
How many Americans are going to die voting for a twat that doesn't give a shit about them? Its honestly unbelievable how stupid the vast majority of that country is.

But, since Florida is inert as feck, these Hispanic numbers do favor Trump.
I’ve got 4 bottles of bourbon in the liquor cabinet that are down to 1/4 to 1/5 full. I’ll be working my way through them starting that morning (school is out for Election Day)Yes.
what whiskeys
@Carolina Red (and @Rado_N if you are planning on staying up for it) what is your drinks line up looking like?
I’m well stocked currently as our local Walgreens has a heavily discounted liquor store in the back. I’ve 2 bottles of Woodford reserve, half a bottle of Jameson, a bottle of bulleit, the ends of some Makers Mark to finish off, a bottle of four roses and 100 proof old forester (never actually had the last one, but they were practically paying me to take it off their hands...) and I’m taking off Wednesday.
“Most of mankind has believed in the Devil, for all of history.” HmmYou believe in heaven and hell?
Oh, of course I do. Don’t you believe in heaven and hell?
No.
Oh, my.
Does that mean I’m not going?
[Laughing.] Unfortunately not!
Wait, to heaven or hell?
It doesn’t mean you’re not going to hell, just because you don’t believe in it. That’s Catholic doctrine! Everyone is going one place or the other.
But you don’t have to be a Catholic to get into heaven? Or believe in it?
Of course not!
Oh. So you don’t know where I’m going. Thank God.
I don’t know where you’re going. I don’t even know whether Judas Iscariot is in hell. I mean, that’s what the pope meant when he said, “Who am I to judge?” He may have recanted and had severe penance just before he died. Who knows?
Can we talk about your drafting process—
[Leans in, stage-whispers.] I even believe in the Devil.
You do?
Of course! Yeah, he’s a real person. Hey, c’mon, that’s standard Catholic doctrine! Every Catholic believes that.
Every Catholic believes this? There’s a wide variety of Catholics out there …
If you are faithful to Catholic dogma, that is certainly a large part of it.
Have you seen evidence of the Devil lately?
You know, it is curious. In the Gospels, the Devil is doing all sorts of things. He’s making pigs run off cliffs, he’s possessing people and whatnot. And that doesn’t happen very much anymore.
No.
It’s because he’s smart.
So what’s he doing now?
What he’s doing now is getting people not to believe in him or in God. He’s much more successful that way.
That has really painful implications for atheists. Are you sure that’s the Devil’s work?
I didn’t say atheists are the Devil’s work.
Well, you’re saying the Devil is persuading people to not believe in God. Couldn’t there be other reasons to not believe?
Well, there certainly can be other reasons. But it certainly favors the Devil’s desires. I mean, c’mon, that’s the explanation for why there’s not demonic possession all over the place. That always puzzled me. What happened to the Devil, you know? He used to be all over the place. He used to be all over the New Testament.
Right.
What happened to him?
He just got wilier.
He got wilier.
Isn’t it terribly frightening to believe in the Devil?
You’re looking at me as though I’m weird. My God! Are you so out of touch with most of America, most of which believes in the Devil? I mean, Jesus Christ believed in the Devil! It’s in the Gospels! You travel in circles that are so, so removed from mainstream America that you are appalled that anybody would believe in the Devil! Most of mankind has believed in the Devil, for all of history. Many more intelligent people than you or me have believed in the Devil.
I hope you weren’t sensing contempt from me. It wasn’t your belief that surprised me so much as how boldly you expressed it.
I was offended by that. I really was.
It will be interesting to watch the apparent cleave in Latino voting in the future - the Central American diaspora in Texas, the SW, & California v. the Caribbean diaspora in Florida. It looks like the wall & the separation of families / locking children up plays far more strongly in the former than in the latter.
I’ll be there with you. Took both days off and going to tap kegs of home brew tripel and hard cider (for the wife...well and me) to go along with the scotch. One way or another my liver is definitely losing this election.I’ve got 4 bottles of bourbon in the liquor cabinet that are down to 1/4 to 1/5 full. I’ll be working my way through them starting that morning (school is out for Election Day)
Thats what I’ve seen also. I’ve heard Qanus horseshit has played well in the Columbian populace, but I doubt it would have been as strong as the Cuban lunacy. From all the data I've seen this cycle, it's purely the Cuban population driving the pro-GOP numbers among Hispanic voters in FL. Other non-Cuban Hispanic FL groups are more in line with the rest of the country. Basically, FL is still held hostage by a bunch of Cuban exiles who are unhappy they can't exploit their fellow former countrymen to make every last buck off their backs (or that's what it seems like to me).
What are you polishing off?I’ve got 4 bottles of bourbon in the liquor cabinet that are down to 1/4 to 1/5 full. I’ll be working my way through them starting that morning (school is out for Election Day)
No sorrow for this idiot leaving The Intercept, hopefully we will never hear from him again...
He simply comes across as a pompous cnut whose journalistic integrity is unassailable by those mere editors in a company he founded. You’re right, it does seem as though he was teeing himself up to be obviously disappointed by the meddling editors in order to hoist himself on his own petard, almost like a martyr, it seemed pretty planned. The response from the female editor smacks much of ‘christ almighty, not this horseshit again’ & apparently it wasn’t the first time.He also published the emails on his website here:
https://greenwald.substack.com/p/emails-with-intercept-editors-showing
I want Biden to win and maybe I am blinded by this, but it really seems like Greenwald was almost looking for an excuse to resign. There is clear escalation in the tone of Greenwald's initial reply and it almost feels like he is writing the email as a manifesto that he fully intends to publish.
He also posted his proposed article here:
https://greenwald.substack.com/p/article-on-joe-and-hunter-biden-censored
By publishing the emails and the article, I think I better understand the editor's point and there are some issues with the article. Specifically, Greenwald seems to be claiming his thesis is about media suppression when it is really just an attempt to attack Biden. For example, Greenwald says any verification is easy when it seems like sources have been less then forthcoming with their information as media outlets have not been provided access to the hard drives. Greenwald is also raising concerns over Biden's involvement in getting Shokin fired and it strengthens his argument that the media has not asked enough questions of Biden. But he goes further in heavily implying that Biden acted to purposefully benefit both his son and Burisma rather than just stating that serious questions need to be asked. He basically argues that even if Biden wasn't aware that his actions or name benefitted his son he is still guilty rather than simply arguing that the situation raises serious questions.
The editor's initial email is basically saying that parts of Greenwald's article are justified (ie, media suppression of the Hunter Biden story) but that the accusations against Joe Biden, especially with Ukraine, are pretty baseless.
I get you don't like Greenwald, but that is unnecessary. He simply comes across as a pompous cnut whose journalistic integrity is unassailable by those mere editors in a company he founded. He seems so obtuse & somewhat condensing, like it was a mortal blow that a mere editor actually had the gall to oppose any of his written words. I bet he was an absolute horror with which to work. I found him interesting during all the Snowden revelations, but since then, he has seemed quite the disingenuous prick akin to a Log Cabin republican in this country, acting not out of journalistic betterment but for his own personal beliefs.
He can slink back to Brazil & wrap himself in the loving arms of the jackass in control that of that country. If we never hear from this officious prick, the world would be a substantially better place in which to live.
Greenwald's point is valid. If he had written the same article about Trump, no way do his editors ask him to revise anything. He also published the emails on his website here:

It is also pretty funny, though I don't want to partake in a whataboutism, that after resigning he quickly went on Tucker Carlson to complain about media support for and bias towards a particular candidate

Not getting your point. It seems to me that Bolsonaro is exactly the type of leader GG would love.I get you don't like Greenwald, but that is unnecessary.
And another bites the dust.
Not getting your point. It seems to me that Bolsonaro is exactly the type of leader GG would love.
Sorry I thought you were making a crude joke about the death threats he and his husband have received in Brazil for Greenwald's reporting on Bolsonaro's former justice minister. Not getting your point. It seems to me that Bolsonaro is exactly the type of leader GG would love.
Agree. He was certainly the media darling in 2013, but his subsequent efforts exposed him for being what you say.Glenn is all about Glenn. The fact that like Tulsi Gabbard, he scampers off to Fox to spill his guts should tell you anything you need to know about his writings. They are little more than a vehicle of self-aggrandizement.
Very interesting, read the first Wiki article & will so read the others shortly. Wasn’t aware of this specifically, I was commenting on the leader’s style being close to Trump’s & how GG has become somewhat of a bootlicker for him.

Yes. I'm still holding out hope that Nas or Em takes them to the cleaners for it.It’s shocking that anyone, regardless of skin color, would be so idiotic to think that this president has done that much for criminal reform. Save for some high profile releases of inmates who were out there wrongly, he hasn’t done much at all.
It just goes to show how the fascist philosophy of citizens falling more easily prey to the bigger lie is spot on.
My bad, should have clarified it by saying a ‘progressive media darling.’he was told on tv that he should be arrested in 2013. i know because i was in the us for the first time in my life in 2013, and he published the snowden NSA leaks at that time, and i saw parts of the fallout.
