Christ you'd think concerns about people carrying military grade guns to polling stations belong in Afghanistan or Chechnya, not sleepy US towns.

I am also super happy that law enforcement is going to get paid lots of my tax money to protect me from domestic terrorists, riled up by our president, while I try to exercise my constitutional right to vote. Nothing says America like armed militia's vs. police (who may be on their side) at polling stations.

Listen, I am not trying to be insulting at all, but this is not "fun" for some of us. I live in a state that in the last few months:
1. Has become THE state for COVID hotspots
2. Has a republican congress and supreme court that is actively trying to suppress democrat votes
3. Has had armed militias storm the capitol
4. Has had a teenager drive into the state and gun down protesters
5. Has had police chiefs/sheriffs actively campaign for Trump
6. etc.,etc.
My polling station is right next to a rural county where trump and confederate flags wave side by side. This is not fun, this is fecking scary.

The only two pundits I recall correctly predicting Trump’s 2016 victory were Bill Mitchell and Michael Moore. Now obviously Bill will be predicting the same again, possibly shortly before Trump’s ascent into heaven, but what has Moore been saying this time around?
