Dems should just hire LincolnProject to make the advertisement for them. So much better compared to the nonsense Dems produce.

agree, Dem's hiring ring-wing loons to attack a bigger right wing loon......yep that would pretty much sum up the contemporary democratic party and their inability to articulate a single thought.

It is true though. The best videos I have seen that attack Trump are from LincolnProject. Dems are anaemic at these things.

no i actually agree. They should. I'm just adding on that it plays right into the perception of those on the left and right that they can't even pay a democratic strategist to do this stuff, actual republican lunatics have to do it for them. The party is fecking awful.

It’s a bit surreal that the country is literally turning itself upside down, and president presiding over this debacle still has a really solid chance of winning a second term.

Does he have a really solid chance, though? I kinda think he'll lose in a disgraceful landslide. He'll get his 40+% of the vote, but almost every candidate gets that.

they are a pac who have endorsed biden ... they pretty much are (for at least this election cycle) a democrat PAC and are probably being used for the more negative adverts as it allows the dems to at least hold onto the facade of when they go low we go high
there are links on the lincoln project website for donations - given their adverts I cant imagine too many republicans are funding them right now

I believe it is taken out of context, and the clip is cut on both sides.

Also, it is an 'armed person coming with a knife', right (I cannot hear that part well).

Edit: He says 'when there's an unarmed person coming at him with a knife or something'

There is hardly anything wrong with what he said, IMO.

Wasn’t the election where Nixon won a complete one sided landslide? Completely red?

Edit: I think it was his re-election.

That's such as bullshit tweet that is completely twisted and doesn't provide the context it deserves to be comprehended correctly.

If you're making the choice to discharge your police firearm, do not shoot to kill, shoot to stop and restrain. That's what he's saying. Shoot to incapacitate, not to kill. But of course it's easier said than done.

Anyone can die from being shot from complications or pure misfortune (you have enormous blood vessels within your leg and can bleed out, infection, etc.).

Not complete, but he went close. Reagan in his re-election came even closer (every state except Minnesota and DC).

He is specifically saying ' when there's an unarmed person coming at him with a knife or something', essentially the police is at risk of being killed. As things stand, in these situations the police shoot to kill.

Nothing to see there, just entropy being entropy.

He was talking in the context of police training. And it is still a very dangerous thing to say. Especially when victims of police brutality are non violent.

That's a valid alternative. Police are trained to use their firearms as the last means of defense and typically they'll shoot to defend their life and of others. They really, really do not want to use their firearm because they know the ramifications it means for themselves personally, professionally, their colleagues, and commanders, etc.. It wasn't about police brutality and how it relates to non-violent approaches. Police have used more alternatives in recent history such as tazers, rubber bullets, mace, etc. to diffuse 'non-violent' situations, until they do turn into violent situations.

What are you talking about, dude? Do you even know that the Minneapolis PD actually took all the necessary training (crisis intervention, implicit bias, body cam etc) and they still ended up strangling almost 50 people unconscious.

Why are you ignoring the 'when there's an unarmed person coming at him with a knife or something'? How can someone who is non-violent be going to the police with a knife?

I am all against police's brutality but this event should not lose people's perspective, neither make the police open targets.

You're moving the goal posts...first we were referencing this heavily cut and lack of context video about alternatives of police using their firearm in a specific/certain situations, now you're referencing Minneapolis PD about their training and strangulation of people? What are you trying to get at or discuss?

Lack of context about what? Police training. You out here explaining police training to us like we didn’t know already. Guess what, it is still useless because even with all the training that your friend Biden was talking about, they choked 45 odd people unconscious. You can’t train away racism. Why you are outraged at me for calling out Biden and his BS is beyond me. Especially, for a video that was making the point that Biden is still advocating for a form violence.

Sounds like he was advocating for change and an alternative solution. Find the full video and we can discuss everything in full. I have friends who are named Joe but not Biden...

The people choked unconscious, why were they choked? What events led to that outcome. How many died as a result of said choke?

Fixed it for you. I can't even with the last part...smhh.

I'm just quoting this because I want to know the answer as well

A little over 20 weeks to the election and we have

1. Potential voter suppression (mail in ballots etc)
2. Saber rattling with China
3. Potential deployment of the army to suppress political opposition
4. A pandemic that's been politicized
5. A culture war raging against the traditional media, social media and frankly anybody without a MAGA hat
6. Attacks on the presumptive democratic nominee ranging from pedophilia and corruption to dementia
7. #OBAMAGATE (its bigger than Watergate don't you know)

I dont think he will loose the election (by hook or by crook) ... and Ive said for a while even if he does he will declare it invalid and tell his supporters to use their second amendment rights (whilst they still have them) to stop the dems / chinese / ANTIFA terrorists illegally stealing his election victory.

People might thing Trump is a bumbling idiot - the truth is this looks far more calculated and strategic to me... he is weaponizing every opportunity to win in 2020 and I think hes going to succeed

America's best hope is that Biden picks someone semi-decent as VP then dies

This would be a nice opportunity for Biden to form a shadow cabinet and start setting about his policy proposals and going after every grifter in the current administration one on one.

He definitely IS, the idiot can barely put together a coherent sentence. People around him, however, are calculated and strategic.

He cant even decide on a VP let alone a whole cabinet
Normally the candidate hasn't even been picked by July. For some reason folks are really keen to ignore the process this year, I guess because the media is covering it more.

true... i was just making the point that appointing a full shadow cabinet as @Wednesday at Stoke said and not appointing a VP would seem very strange (I think they said likley to be August they announce a running mate which to hobest with the amount of coverage its getting i think is a mistake - Pick one then you can get on like @Wednesday at Stoke said and start attacking policies but at the moment there isnt the media bandwidth outside of riots, CV19 and VP stuff)

Yeah, I'm just not sure how much stuff is 'in process' and how much he can say. VP candidates are vetted for > 1 month, I'd imagine maybe half that for cabinet members, and we're locked down which has to interfere.

Obviously I too want him to announce Warren as VP, AoC, Bernie, etc all on Cabinet so the dems can start to 'heal in the big tent' and get this done.

They're different policies. Read the bits that aren't underlined.
joe biden is part of the problem when it comes to police violence and brutality, he will defend police and their brutal actions and even blurt out this nonsense about shooting people in the legs , the kind of thing you would make fun of trump if he'd said it, but because joe has a (D) next to his name, you and all the other libs are going justify it and going to pretend he's not part of the problem, a joe biden presidency will see police brutality and the murders of black men by police officers continue, and he is responsible for the disproportionate jailing of black men and their enslavement in the justice system

there will be no accountability with these people in charge because they're the ones who designed this system

I'm not American and I'm not a Democrat. I was only pointing out how silly your post was.

Calling out irrationality doesn't mean I'm in one team or another.

Dems could run Hillary with Epstein as the VP at this point and they would crush Trump.

i didn't say you're a democrat, i said you're a lib but i can see how that might confuse you if a mild comparison of two candidates using the same dumbass phrase is too much
