Now starts the process of canvassing Eboue to vote for Biden
Whats the difference ? The article never goes into the differences between the two. Neo liberalism at it's core is a model of capitalism, it's not simply a political preference, Obama was a neo liberal, the same with Pelosi. Neo liberalism has been the dominate model of capitalism for the past 40 odd years, so what the hell is establishment politics, if it isn't neoliberalism ?
The overall point of the article seem true enough, the progressives simply don't have the numbers.
Why?Nice words .And i believe that to be true. But i've lost any respect for Warren.
Come on Eboue, he's the People's Rapist.I'm not going to vote for a rapist. No one else should either.

It's pretty shitty but progressives are fighting a losing battke in every area in America. The ease by which Biden has won this Primary makes me shudder at what could have happened in November if Sanders got there somehow. America is not ready. Biden is a geriatric ffs.
33.3% is basically 0%.He's only raped 1/3 as many women as Trump!
How long will that take? The progressive movement is still growing in America. Sanders is merely a harbinger of what's to come once the youth of today (teenagers/twentysomethings) begin to take voting a bit more seriously.
How long will that take?
What I find wierd is how fairly bog-standard first world policies are sees as commie extreme. I grew up in nigeria thinking every developed country had free healthcare for its citizens. Didn't think it had anything to do with politics, right or left. You call yourself a developed country, you provide care for all your citizens...standard.
Not even TRADE convinced you? SADyeah I'm good on that.

I'm curious which would be tougher to win over... a hard core Trump or Sanders voter. I'd have very happily voted Sanders but I wouldn't consider myself a hard core supporter. I won't be voting for Biden but in my very blue state it really doesn't matter.Good luck trying to win over Sanders supporters. I am sitting this one out.

Yeah the electability argument for the Sanders campaign was almost impossible to make as they needed to attack that past few decades of american politics and argue that Trump was the logical outcome of the system rather than a absurd break from it, so don't vote for the former Obama guy but well......the swing bloc and really all of the democratic base want nothing more than a Obama 2.0. It also would have required Sanders to risk attacking Biden and the Democratic Party to the point where it could of potentially helped Trump win a second term, which was something Sanders was never willing to do. Their only hope was trying to by pass these voters with youth turnout but when that failed, the campaign was finished. Not read the article. Based on the polling and changes within it, the "swing" bloc are the electability voters that stuck with Biden till January, started moving to Bernie in Jan, started leaving Biden for Bernie and Pete after Iowa/NH, gave Bernie a lead after NV, and then coalesced quickly back to Biden after SC and the triple endorsement. The core left vote was probably about 25% while this faction was probably 50% in itself.
Both sides were guilty of it. I didn't really follow her campaign closely so don't know much about her policy swings. Her changing face on Medicare For All influenced by Obama's former chief digital strategist
Attacking Bernie and the supporters
She is not really that progressive

Really small time, a stupid group of operatives that let Trump win the WH by overestimating their chances. Robby Mook chief among them, one of the greatest imbeciles in modern political history.
